Yeah, that's looks like just a rumor alright. Game's don't get made overnight; therefore, if Blizzard were publicly looking for a new MMO team, we'd have heard about it however long ago we had.

How about a case of Space Flea from Nowhere.... that way 13 expansions later, we still have stuff to do.

I think the Alliance should line the Horde up in a line and execute them, one by one. That way my battlegroup can winz in pvp.

@ xaratherus: I'd actually kerflip those last two.
Yeah, I didn't intend for them to be in chronological order, but they sort of came out that way, save those last two. Although despite the epic nature of a Creator War, I still think given the established lore that Sargeras would be the final 'big bad'.

Here's what I would say for the next few expansions.
Expansion 4: The Nightmare War
A dedicated Old God expansion mainly focusing on the Emerald Dream. The final confrontation with Azshara would also occur here, as her story will become somehow merged with the Nightmare storyline. After this expansion the Old Gods will no longer be considered a serious threat on Azeroth.
Expansion 5: Army of the Light
The Naaru have decided the time has come to launch a coordinated assault against 2 key Legion worlds. Gathering a massive army they use the Outland portals as well as a new dimensional vessel to travel to Argus and Xoroth. Strange new allies will be found including non-demonic versions of many demon races. The final confrontation with Kil'Jaeden will occur in this expansion.
Expansion 6: Fury of the Titans
With Kil'jaeden was defeated at the hands of Azerothian mortals the Titans have split into 2 factions. One faction fears the growing power of Azeroth and views it as a radical element in the universe that must be "removed from the equation" if the universe is to be truly ordered. The other faction believes the titans are indebted to Azeroth for defeating the Burning Legion and believes any chaotic influence the world has on the universe is essentially minor and acceptable under the circumstances. This expansion uses a phased high-level version of several Azerothian zones as well as the Titan's mysterious homeworld.

How about a case of Space Flea from Nowhere.... that way 13 expansions later, we still have stuff to do."Space Flea from Nowhere" is a pointless trope that was purposely re-worked to draw an artificial distinction between it and "Diabolus Ex Vacuus," which should itself have been renamed "Diabolus Ex Nihilo." Many of its alleged examples could only be called such by someone who wasn't paying attention.
That said:Yeah, I didn't intend for them to be in chronological order, but they sort of came out that way, save those last two. Although despite the epic nature of a Creator War, I still think given the established lore that Sargeras would be the final 'big bad'.Ah, gotcha.
However, I kind of disagree: We're talking about one psycho Titan as opposed to multiple angry Titans.
(Captcha was "abaccer papers." Are those for hand-rolling cigarettes?)

Maybe I chose the wrong word... the idea I have is that with endless dimensions, and even planets within currently known dimensions, the places one could adventure to are endless.
It certainly leaves more options than the mere 6 or seven expacs most seem content with.

minimum
of seven
more
xpacks after Cataclysm.
And yes, "minimum" is a key word there. I'm no expert, but one xpack per world seems pretty inadequate to me. And this is all aside from the possibility of re-visiting Outland and Northrend.

I just want to add that Blizzard
does
want to revisit Outland and Northrend eventually.
Cheers. They have been known to say that they'll do things, then completely forget about it later.

Don't think this will be.

Sorry to bring this up, but dance studio, aerial combat. You got to it before I could.
That said, I'll keep my fingers crossed around Blizzcon next year (especially if I've heard rumors regarding demonhunters). But I won't hold my breath.

Demon Hunters are for Diablo heh. And yeah I know they say things, then don't, but in this case, I could see it happening.

Demon Hunters are for Diablo heh. By that logic, so are paladins, rogues, warriors, and druids. (Although I'm pulling a blank on whether demonhunters actually appeared in the Warcraft setting first).

No, I'm serious; they released the last class for Diablo 3,
the Demon Hunter
. It's possible we'll see them at some point as a playable class in Warcraft, but we'll have to wait and see.

I doubt that the Titans will become big enemies. After all, Agalon's mind was changed and he told adventurers how to save the world from the reorgination. He is likely now telling the Titans that maybe they were run.
Agalon of Azeroth self destructed after imputting the stop code....the Titans don't know.

Also; really doubting a full Dream expansion since all the Nightmare problems, except that one tiny dark area have been dealt with, and we'll probably end up taking down the Old God of Northern Kalimdor in Cata.
Adamsm, if there's one thing we should learn from Blizzard, is that if there's something there, no matter how small, %^&* will happen. They will never just 'leave' that little corrupted place a little corrupted place.
It's like a rule of the internet. Or Murphy's law, or Godwin's law.
"If you build it, it will use magic plot devices to become Cthulhu's daddy."
