What I noticed in today's raiding was that there is no huge difference between KC and AS damagewise
And seeing how 2AS is 1KC focus wise. I didn't see a point in using it
And I am pretty sure kc does not count for mm mastery either.
Conclusion: don't use kc if you are MM ,imo
Good to know :) Will test out tonight and see if it's a difference.

You should always use Arcane Shot over KC as MM.
Arcane benefits from
Glyph of Arcane Shot
(which I couldn't find last night on the AH). Also our new
Sic'Em
talent benefits from Arcane shot. And our MM Mastery:
Wild Quiver
can proc off Arcane shot but not KC.
KC doesn't benefit from anything from the MM tree. Also the
Glyph of Kill Command
sucks.
So for MM, Arcane Shot >>> KC.

Specced myself a bit different in MM, but it seems to work for me so far
Assuming my link works....here is my profile:
The way I have been doing my rotation is a bit complex but so far it has worked:
I start with Aimed Shot-Chimera Shot-Steady Shot-Serpent Sting;
then I do (Steady Shot-Steady Shot-Arcane Shot-Arcane Shot-Steady Shot-Steady Shot-Chimera Shot)
rinse and repeat; using Aimed Shot when it procs, and obviously Kill Shot takes priority over all.
Granted this is only Single-Target dps rotation

Apparently your profile is missing....
So, spec-wise, now I'm like this:
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#ccZfrG0hRMuro0b:zsVVMrMzc
KS-> chimera -> serpent -> arcane /steady -> aimed (when procs) -> chimera to refresh -> KS
I've been MM for almost 5 years; must admit, in the heydays I didn't know what I was doin, but in the last 2 years i caught up and... well, BY NOW, a spec like this shuld work (bear in mind: RAID-WISE).
Finally, not being BM, I hate wasting points on pet enhancement, but i have to to get down to higher tiers...
Any thoughts?
I don't really get why you're taking Improved Serpent Sting. As MM you should only have to apply it once, so the 30% damage seems kind of minimal to me compared to the 2% haste you could get.

There is a raging debate about whether or not Chimera Shot should be used in the level 80 rotation. Math wizzes over at EJ are saying that manually refreshing Serpent Sting with the 2/2 Imp Serpent Sting, or even ignoring it all together, will yield more DPS that using Chimera Shot. This would force your rotation to look like: AS x 2 -> SS x 2 repeat. I might try it out on a farm boss in my ICC 25, but being completely raid buffed Chimera Shot is still more DPS than Arcane Shot and I have yet to be focused starved using my current rotation. However, in all scenarios, rotations, and fights; 3/3 Pathing will always outperform 3/3 in One With Nature. The only real decision you can make with the extra talents in your MM spec is to go either 2/2 in One With Nature or 2/2 in Imp Serpent Sting.

I've been forging away *some* of my crit and I don't know how far is acceptable. Should I go all out? I currently have 54% crit and around 15% mastery.

Currently, it's pretty accepted that Mastery is our third best stat for every spec (after Hit and Agility). You should reforge as much as you can. It is also theorized (and "feels" correct) that Haste is currently better than Crit. Therefore, maximize your Mastery at the expense of Crit in nearly every case.
Me, for instance: 53.74% crit, 23.70% haste, 22.53 (40%) mastery.
