That may be the weirdest bug I've ever heard of.
Normally the Client installs the Looter automatically the first time it's run. Did you select your World of Warcraft directory in the Client's options screen?

No, I believe you normally have to select the actual exe itself to verify its existence. At least on the PC version.

I'm having the same problem, but on a mac (leopard). I install the client and then open WoW but there is no Addons button (I have no other addons) and none of the commands work in game. I looked in the Interface folder and its not there and I searched and couldn't find it anywhere else either :/
ED: I also located the World of Warcraft.app, although it had already found it ok.

We're talking with the guys who built the client right now. Stay tuned!

Need more time. The guy who built the mac client actually works for Apple, not us—so he has to fit client updates into his busy schedule!

Huh yeah I didn't think to look in Package Contents but there it was. Copied it, it said it was out of date, loaded it anyways. When the game starts up it does say "Wowhead looter loaded" but none of the commands do anything. It doesn't even tell you those aren't correct commands.

I manually copied the Addon from the /Applications/wowhead-client/Contents/Resources/ directory to my Wow Addon directory. It showed up in the list of addons when I start Wow but it is shown as outdated and when I enable loading outdated addons it still won't work for some reason. When I type /wl collect it says to type /help for commands.

We have someone who is working on it. It's just a matter of getting it done.
