Magatha is a shaman? Didn't know that one.
She is. She also wears a shaman set in Thousand Needles. :-p
Speaking of which, does anyone know if she appears in any zone after the incident at the end of Thousand Needles? Was a bit of a cliffhanger and she wasn't in any of the 80+ areas on the beta... Future raidboss perhaps?

Well, I didn't mean she'd necessarily become an end-boss of a raid, but maybe she'll turn into some kind of ascendant thanks to the artifact you helped her get? Was half-asleep when I did the quest, so can't remember exactly what it was for to be honest.

Hey, new
Garrosh story
up on the B.net site.
Haven't read it yet (wanna finish questing before I set out on a 7 page story), but it should be interesting.

Decent read in my opinion, although it did seem there was a bit of time-line issues, unless there really were that many jumps back and forth in the storyline. Not only in regards to the two female orcs, but also his whole view on honor and such - it was slightly confusing, to say the least. Nothing really new though.

The story was indeed jumping back and forth between the time after the incident in Dalaran happened and the first time Garrosh arrived at Orgrimmar after the end of Burning Crusade. I liked the story and Garrosh's decision concerning Blackscar really surprised me coming from him (I was expecting another "you're dismissed" moment) and Korm deserved it.

/eyeroll.
I realise lending my own thought on this garrosh fan story will just get shot down by the posters here, but what the hell, might as well.
Blizzard have essentally admitted, without words, that they made such a mess of Garrosh's character, that they needed an outsider to write a fan fic for there favourite character to try and fill in the holes, when they couldn't do it themselves.
It strikes me a sloppy and just how poorly designed Garrosh is, that it needs a garrosh fan to write what blizzard should have done, instead of taking it and calling it canon.
I think I hear the burning touches and pitchfolks.

I don't want to shoot your post down... but I honestly wonder whether you read it and thought "How can I make this insulting to Garrosh as a character?"

*rant* And....Tauren didn't read the story, as it clearly says who the author is....and it's not Blizzard. Keep trolling bruther.

It's not a fanfic due to Blizzard putting it on their website.
It's a fanfic because it's of dubious quality. Clearly not that author's best work.I actually enjoyed it. I had no problems with the quality. Definitely thought it was better than my own work.
And it's not a fan fic. The author was a fan, but Blizzard commissioned her to write a story for them. It's just as canon as any other author.

I enjoyed it, and didn't feel it lacked in quality, but you're entitled to your own opinion I suppose.
