even for someone like Thrall.
Or Garrosh's escort. That Dragon raid would have destroyed all of the Air Fleet if Garrosh hadn't sent them at the allies.
Heh, aye.

.....Okay, now your just trying to pick a fight. Seriously; Dragon bigger then the ships with a body covered by adamantite plates.... yeah, of course the ships would win.
Of course, not really an assumption in this case: Second War proves that Ship vs Dragon, ship loses every time.

Actully, it is assumption, since without anything to prove that a group of dragons against a group of horde airships, along with whatever was on those ships, mages, warlocks, and the weaponry, could have stood against them.
True it might have destoryed the entire fleet, but then it might not have. To say otherwise to a supposed situation is only ever gonna be based on one sided arguments. Fact was, don't know if the fleet would have been destroyed said dragons.
And as far as I saw, Deathwing wasn't in that fight, this is the senario of saying if the fleet had not attacked the alliance if they would have held against the black dragons attacking them.

....And the irony of his post? That's not lost on anyone else right? I mean come on... really; you realize every single thing your saying there contradicts... well, every single so called piece of evidence you have that Garrosh is evil; your doing the same thing your accusing me of doing. Seriously, just can't take you seriously anymore; you could make a garden grow nice and big with the stuff spewing from your mouth lately.
On topic: Dragons bad. Ships brittle. Dragon vs Ships; nothing but ruins, seen in the other wars. Garrosh may not be Mensa, but if he hadn't of gone for the Alliance fleet, he probably would have lost everything in one swoop to Deathwing's Dragons.

Although it is an hypothetical situation, the most likely outcome for the dragons vs. Horde air fleet would be the dragons completely destroying the air fleet regardless of the fighters being present.

Unless it was a boss fight with epix at the end of it /eyeroll
Actully this reminds me of the scene from final fantasy 9 entering Memoria where a few airships took on an entire sky full of dragons. Different game and genre, but in a situation where the fleet is set to make it to where its meant to, the airships would have made it. The story was designed that they wouldn't, but if they were to, it have like some powerful figures taking down the dragons and boom, sorted.
but because Garrosh sent the fleet away, and there was only this situation of having 3 ships and an army of black dragons, it was only ever gonna go one way.

It was the entire Lindblum, Alexandria, the Black Mage village and the Genomes fleets; and even then, they weren't trying to beat the assaulting White Dragons, they were just providing cover so that the Heroes Airship could go through the Memoria portal.
Here; to refresh you.

Why are we arguing about this?
Tauren doesn't like Garrosh. Adams thinks he's okay.
I still don't much like him.
But you two are arguing about what might have hypothetically happened in an event that we don't even have all the information on. We don't know what would have happened if Garrosh had kept the airships around, and we never, ever, ever will.
Stop arguing about it.

Point being, compared to the massive number of white dragons, the airships didn't lose.

Since your back Skree, was wondering about that thing about Drek'thar. Like say I know he doesn't want anything to do with the forsaken anymore, but it sounded like you said he was packing it all in with the horde? Whats up with that?

Point of that: To quote Cid: Break a path through for the Invincible! After that, the ships fled seeing as when you leave Memoria after taking down the last boss, the ships are gone, and there is wreckage around. Of course, after that point, Zidane goes into the roots to save Kuja.. but that's not really the here or there.
If your going to make a reference to something, should have went with the Virages at the end of Legend of Dragoon: Even as the Moon was being destroyed, the heroes were still winning against several hundred thousand of the massive monsters.
Beat FF9 10 times, I know the event and the ending off by heart.

Fair enough. Point still remains though, and the goblin said it clearly, it was a poor decision, even if he didn't know the dragons were gonna attack. It was an unprovoked attack at that moment where the alliance hadn't spotted them, and he made the first move, BUT, he didn't join the battle.
Funny how the orc who kicked the goblin called Garrosh a winner, when in the next instance, he lost and his ship crashed and burned.

Like say I know he doesn't want anything to do with the forsaken anymore, but it sounded like you said he was packing it all in with the horde? Whats up with that?I was under the impression that Drek'thar basically said "Screw the Horde," after Cromush asked him for help.
Maybe I was wrong, but I can't find the dialogue now.

I never thought I'd say this, but based on this discussion, I'm really warming to Garrosh being the warchief. I always thought it was a good choice from a story-based point of view (who wants peace when there's shiny badges and honor points for the PvPers? And what could be more fun than putting the hammer to the opposing faction's leaders?).
But now I'm beginning to look forward to working for Garrosh, and my sympathy for Thrall is waning (I never did like shamans). Any time I see Garrosh doing something reckless and arrogant, it reminds me of building a big group of zealots and sending them on a suicide mission against the enemy base. Just attack into the middle of it, and sit back and watch the slaughter. Usually they don't fare too well, but the feeling when they do... Awesome! They really
will
overcome the entire Swarm "with might and fury that is heritage".
And that's how I want to see the Horde win their battles: A wild, mad rush and going berserk all over the enemy, and making another enemy in the bargain and stomping on them too. And then loot, burn and pillage!
Go Garrosh!
