the worgens are the prime example of perfectly good plot gone to waste, Gilneans were the most NASTY members of the alliance, back on the second war, just about every member of the alliance hated them, for their arrogancy, snubish attitude, insolence, prepotence, and more.
But we don't know what the state of affairs will be in Cataclysm between the Worgen and the rest of the Alliance.
there is no tension between people having to fight side-by-side with worgen (when worgens in general are more feral and agressive than undead)
There is a quest where one of the humans essentially says "Working with the draenei was bad enough, now we have to fight with
these
guys?"
what upsets me is all the internal strife within the horde, but the relatively nice status of the alliance =/
In the end though, what kinda bugged me was the whole "Horde is falling apart, Alliance should too!" May I remind us all that hte Alliance fell apart once already? This current discord will actually balance the score ;)

Which time do you refer to?
After math of the Second War, then again partially in the Third War, and again with Varian missing in Vanilla and BC; they've only really pulled together enmass over the course of Wrath.

Well, I don't think that the entire Alliance was ''torn apart'' when Varian disappeared. Just Stormwind and more or less Ironforge, really./shrug Two of the larger groups, and had an effect on the surrounding areas due to the undesirables using the lands as playgrounds while the Weaver sat in the Palace, playing with Anduin and Bolvar.

Just did the entry quest for Twilight Highlands and just... wow. I recommend you guys to check that one out if there's a video. (Garrosh singlehandedly kills a twilight dragon (not drake) while yelling GET! OFF! MY! SHIP! :-p)
Also seems he will have a pretty big role in that zone later on as well. (with the Dragonmaw joining the Horde and all)

My 2 cents about Garrosh: He's not cut out to be a leader, but as an important character, it seems more likely that he might die in some dramatic questline, so things might work out for the horde in the end.

Or he doesn't die, and actually evolves and becomes a better commander, and is a military leader when Thrall returns.

Garrosh will never be a great military leader.
He will, in time, become a great orc leader. One who takes "Lok'tar Ogar!" to heart and can inspire the troops by leading them into heroic charges. But a great military leader? Hell no.
A commissar, per se.

Never said a great one, I said he change from what he is(which we've seen already), and end up as the leader of whatever faction he ends up heading when Thrall returns.

He doesn't change what he is. He remains the most headstrong orc in history next to his father. What is happening though, and what didn't happen with Grom, is that his inner self isn't corrupted. The hardships of war, as well as Saurfang and Thrall's guiding hands, tempered him into a much better orc than his father. However, this doesn't happen until Cairne's death and we don't see it until Stonetalon, hence Vol'jin's outburst in the throne room.
He's a hypocrit. He spers on the orcs to go attack stonetalon to claim it for the horde. He yells about claiming all of azeroth for the horde, meaning, that he would gladly wipe out anyone in his way to do it, the alliance most of all. And yet, one of his commanders, who only did what he did because he thought Garrosh would approve, kills some night elves with a bomb, and suddenly that orcs in the wrong?
He makes up this crap on the spot, to pretty much make more simple ppl believe he's a good leader, but how he then goes from talking about honor one minute, to wanting to rip apart any alliance in his way and laughing like a crazed mad man on his vessel, its easy to see he's as cross wired as his father.
Grom might have talked about honor when he wasn't fighting, but he loved killing and blood flowing when he was fighting, and ended up being someone who only wanted to fight and conquer all. read the end of beyond the dark portal, and you'd see that about Grom.
Seems like the demons blood only brought the worst of grom to the surface more, it was already there, looking at Garrosh, its pretty obvious demon blood isn't needed to make a hellscream into a raving psychopath.
