I'm sure that's not what we meant...
Check the comments bro.
Also, what kinda new toys does Engineering have at level 85? Anything amazingly epic that's not already on Wowhead?

Most profs still aren't available past 450. :-(
Didn't some non-combat pets leak a while ago though? A mini void reaver and a robot bunny if I recall correctly.

How much experience is currently needed to go from 80 to 81, 81 to 82, 82 to 83, etc.?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Roughly how much of the post-80 content do you need to complete in order to level from 80 to 85? I know this may change dramatically between now and launch, but a pointer on how it feels right now would be great.
For comparison, levelling from 70 to 80 you could skip at least one full Northrend zone, probably over 2 zones worth for most people (depending on the amounts of instance XP, rested XP etc.; battleground XP and gathering XP just adds to that for Cata)

I am currently 84 on my main. I have done the entirety of Vashj (everything. And that place is huge, by the way), entirety of Deepholm, a chunk of the Hyjal quests, and have started Uldum.
I guess I would say I got through 82 in Vashj, 82-83 in Deepholm, and maybe... half a level in Hyjal? Into 84 has all been in Uldum. I've done about 4 dunegons thus far, though this was much earlier and I think one or two of the dunegons never gave us experience.
I've also had on the experience gain helm and cloak nearly the entire time, which gives me a 15% boost. (I think it's 15. I may be off). Oh yes, and 5% from the guild. And rest experience the whole time.
I'm about a bubble and a half from being 85. I haven't tried twilight highlands at all, and did... I think about 1/3? of Hyjal. But 100% of Vashj& Deepholm and probably 2/3 of Uldum. YMMV.
Edited about three thousand times because I kept forgetting stuff.

What are the BOA prices now? Which currency are they using and how much?

That's excellent info katanaangel, it sounds fairly similar to WotLK so far then, since you haven't touched Twilight Highlands yet.
It does annoy me a little that you can reach top level while skipping so much content, but there's nothing new in that. At least it leaves something new to see when you level alts.

Keep in mind that he was using the new heirloom items which you won't have access to until you've got an 85 character who's in a guild and has good guild reputation. (well, currently all you need for them is a lot of gold but doubt that'll stay)
They have nerfed the XP requirement (or buffed gain, not sure) enough for you to skip some zones, true, but I wouldn't say it goes too quick to level through the new zones, though they do have a good flow with story quests and phasing which makes the leveling experience pretty cool IMO.

They cost Justice Points. 435 for chests/shoulders/1h weapons and 706 for 2h weapons/bows. Oh and 543 for trinkets.

He didn't do that many dungeon runs though, and wasn't getting XP for everything. So that counts a bit in the other direction. Besides, Cataclysm has fewer high-level zones (5 vs. 8) so skipping one equates to skipping more than one in WotLK, relatively speaking.

the real icing in the cake is: how much JP each heroic boss gives? I somehow doubt it will be just 1. cus if it is...... :S dang farming 400 points will take forever.

Shale Spider is the only new exotic pet I know of. They're tiny spider-like rock elemental things who have a motw/blessing of kings style raidbuff.
@Sigma and DollPrincess: On it!
Bragor Bloodfist says "Varimathras? No, he hasn't reported in for some time. No doubt he's off on an errand of importance for his queen.", so suppose it's unchanged. The blood elves still say the same thing and Sylvanas says:
"Speak quickly; I don't have time to waste on idle chatter. The Forsaken have become a force to be reckoned with, but there is still much to do in a given day. The city doesn't run itself.
What do you want?"
World event achievements are still there... Don't seem to be changed at all. :-)

I have a question about the Sandstone Drake.
If you level alchemy to 525 and get the drake, if you unlearn alchemy will you still keep the drake? Or will it be unusable/dissapear?
