Focussed attacks is gone! Noo... our energy regen is going to be dire unless we have 100% rupture uptime. Still have no idea why the first tier is screwed though. If they replace "Imp Evis" with a 2 point talent that also increases envenom damage it will sort it out.
Because Vile Poisons was removed too, right?
No, but they need to give us tier 1 talents which are actually useful.

want to try cata beta, need to see if imp ss hits more than imp hemo, for the sub spec. if ss wins, we can take it and use hemo just to refresh the debuff. anyway hemo will cost much less than ss....need to try.
definitely some interesting things in this build.

update again, for new beta build.
added the armor specialization for all classes,
# Leather Specialization - Increases your Agility by 5% while wearing only Leather armor.
other spell changes (from mmo-champ):
Combat
* Backstab now causes 175% weapon damage. Up from 150%.
Subtlety
* Shadowstep now causes 30% additional damage (up from 20%) but no longer reduces threat.
* Initiative is now a 2 points talent, down from 3. Now has a 50%/100% chance to proc. (Up from 33/66/100%)

the most interesting thing here imho is the buff to bs....definitely some daggers love.
not combat daggers viable, but sublety daggers will gain a lot from this.

We are changing Improved Eviscerate to also affect Envenom, to give Assassination another attractive first tier talent for the endgame player.

I really don't know what to make of that. Do they think elusiveness is more important for combat and assassination rogues than dirty tricks to have in pvp? If so, I beg to differ.

I think this is 90% of the changes you're seeing here. We shouldn't expect any more major updates. Thing is, most of it seems complete. I'd only like to see assassination be given better quality fillers.

tbh, i like new talent trees, but as always there are very few "optional" talents, if you try to put up a build you will take the same talents again and again (apart from sub that seems the filler tree).
i'm not saying that one spec is better than another, but that specs will look the same between different characters as is now.

Even sub has only a single talent point as a filler to choose, considering elusiveness can be viewed as a dps talent, through master of subtlety. Combat is by far the best designed tree with 4 filler talents to choose from, however poor the quality of those fillers seems to be in regards to pve. Subtlety and assassination both have excellent fillers, in the form of quickening, imp. EA, cheat death, enveloping shadows, etc. and yet have no opportunity to take them.
