Maiden still puts on a @#$%ing amazing show. Bruce *!@#inson has so much energy still, it's amazing.
Edit: Really? Censoring his name? lol

I really wish I could turn off the filtering here. It just seems so unnecessary.
I love some Iron Maiden - of course, I also loved White Wizzard when they came out, because they're very similar. Never was a huge Judas Priest fan, but I love Painkiller and, especially, Death's cover of it.

Yes! Death's cover of Painkiller was better than the original IMO.
Edit: Bruce Dickinson :)

Oh yeah, I saw a concert like last year. I was rather disappointed that it was more oriented towards their new album, with some old one's thrown in, but I'd like to see more of their older stuff (Paschendale, Run to the Hills, etc. were not played).
Edit: Bruce must be older than my dad but he has twice the energy I have. Running and climbing on $%^& the whole show, I was just standing there being excited and yelling and I got tired by the end of it.

Seriously! He flies around that stage all night and changes costumes is what seems to be a blink of the eye. All that while singing his friggen lungs out! He doesn't even stop to take a breath before the long verses it seems.
That was one hell of a show.

Never got into heavy metal very much. Iron Maiden is good from what I've listened to, but I prefer symphonic metal more.

Got
Absolution
by Muse today, finally completed my collection. Should start on Radiohead/finish Nightwish next.
Anyways,
Absolution
is very incredibly depressing, but I love it. Favorite track on there right now has to be
Time is Running Out
.

When I saw them in February they did a 50/50 set: an hour of new stuff followed by an hour of classics. It was a festival set, which probably influenced their decision to play lots of old stuff.

Maiden's my favorite metal band ever, and is high in my Top 5 favorite bands list. They're just sooo awesome.

Some electronic stuff. Most of what I listen to is trance / hardstyle when I listen to electronica, though there are a few others.
Asbhury Heights
Front Line Assembly
Showtek

Been a while since I popped my head in this thread. Let's see ...
Tommyknockers
, heh, love this song....well and the band too; Blind Guardian is an excellent one.
Blind Guardian is sooooo f'in good :D
Lost in the Twilight Hall
is one of the most epic songs ever.
Tales from the Twilight World just is their best album ever. Period. I friggin love it!
Imaginations from the Other Side
makes a close second though.
Symphony X has a new album out, and it's a double disc woop!
End of Innocence
and
Dehumanized
are the second and third song off the first disc. Electric Messiah (first song off the second disc) is my favourite song, but Nuclear Blast is deleting all songs on YouTube not put up by them, so can't link that one -_-

Gotta say
Nightfall in Middle Earth
is my favorite. I may be biased because I love
The Silmarillion
, but it's what made me love Blind Guardian. Usually I'm not big on power metal, but when you make a concept album based on the
Silmarillion
you're awesome in my book.

Eh, Nightfall in Middle Earth was rather boring, imo. I didn't care much for Tolkien's books, though, either. I much prefer their full-on metal style.

Take one look at the people in that band and you should know the answer to that question.

What's wrong with Blood on the Dance Floor?
Their music is terrible, they are blatant pedophiles and rapists, and they look more retarded than I thought humanly possible.
I will respect most musical opinions, but nothing involving crunkcore.
