thanks very much, i'll make those edits right away.
the corruption bit is in already so i'd welcome the same kind of feedback on that too if you have the time. i've quoted it at the end of the FAQ thread.

Also, number 3 is missing its DO.
No it's not, it's just not bolded ;)
(probably what you meant, but still ^_^)

yup, it wasn't all capitalised but i've fixed that
and
added bod text ^_^
you're right about grouping dos and don'ts together. i put the CoD thing at the end since it's mostly an after thought and shouldn't really alter how you do things but it's so much neater with them grouped.
by the way. "dos and don'ts" is a colloquialism and i'm struggling with the use of apostrophe >.<
"dos" looks daft but "do's" isn't right since it's not possessive or indicating an omission. anyone have an opinion on that? (a silly point i know but these things prey on my mind).

Haha, fair enough LookOut.
I did in fact mean it was not bolded, but there was still room for further clarity on my part :p
And I will take a look at that Asakawa
Edit:
And thats an issue that there really isn't an answer to.
Some say using apostrophes for plurals is not correct, while on the other hand you need to use an apostrophe at least for the contraction.
So your possibilities are...
Dos and Don'ts (no ' for plurals)
Do's and Don't's (using ' for plurals)
Or, the commonly accepted middle ground
Do's and Don'ts
My vote goes to the third, it is a fair middle ground, and it has been pretty much excepted that there is no real answer to this question
