the question is as it stands, if i fight a prot pally as arms i get droped in like 10 seconds w/e even doing a scratch, if i fight them as prot what ensues is a 5 minut fight with him staying at about twice my HP teh entire time, and as for fury, we all know thats the butt end of the pvp joke, so i ask is there anyw ay for a warrior to kill a good prot pally?

Tanks have been owning melee DPS I think forever(at least since I started playing in 2.0.)
A rogue that can kite well may win against a prot warrior. Although with conc blow these days he's going to have a hell of a time.

Since I brought my warrior at lev 80 I started to work at a tactic 2 defeat prot paladins....I can't say that I succeded ,but I found a talent tactic which I observed that is very eficient against them...
http://www.wowhead.com/profile=21158813#talents
the only way 2 survive in dueling a great tank is 2 be a tank and if u want 2 defeat him u need extra dps...my tactic allows me to have the SAME DEFFENCES as a prot warrior tank AND the strenght of a fury one and bonus regeneration from Bloodthirst...
try it and tell me what do u think :D

I'm just curious what you mean by this. The damage on Conc Blow was most recently nerfed, I think. It's been otherwise unchanged for as long as I can remember.
Thanks
I agree with your other point. Tanks > melee in most cases 1v1.
Damn, ment shockwave. In TBC they kited us between 5 and 8 yards. Shockwave would *!@# them up good now.

Brokle
sayed:
The strengths of a Prot Warrior lie in control and mobility. Something like that spec may be useful for soloing old content, but digging that deep into Fury kills everything that makes Prot great.I undrestood Brokle :P...but I wasn't talking about letting away the prot 4 fury... in most of the cases protection is the best ...but i'm talking about the oportunity 2 use a 2 handed weapon and a shield against the pally for criticals and defensive control...with this tactic u can't b a great tank in raids but it can help in duels...I agree with others that melees have the best chances 2 defeat pallys but with a little of protection as I have they have better chances

Learn to run through him and attack from behind. One-hander and shield, interrupt his heals and lock him out of Holy when he gets low on health. Spell Reflect his Hammer of Wrath when you're on low health, try to reflect Hammer of Justice generally. When you're opening, anticipate Avenger's Shield and spell reflect that too. Remember that he can't block/parry/dodge when stunned, so use your stuns judiciously.
Remember that you can dispel with Shield Slam when you can. Wiping out Kings is 10% of his health right off the bat. Dispelling his Seals will force him to waste a GCD on renewing them that could otherwise have been used to damage you. And I think you can dispel Sacred Shield - not 100% sure about that.
A Warrior, when played well, can be a real pain for a Prot Pally.
