Why must people comment on "The Seeker" on quests?
Return to board index

Why must people post comments on the Wowhead Quests that the specific quest counts towards "The Seeker - 3000 quests"? I understand the "Loremaster" comments on quests.
I thought it would be obvious.
Every
quest, short of repeatable (dailys), count towards the "Seeker" achievement. I have not found one quest that did not, other than the daily's and repeatable quests.
Also, if a person is going for "Loremaster", it is very likely they will attain the "Seeker" title in the process.
So what is the point of posting that comment?

The same point as you posting this thread: sometimes people cannot help themselves in attempting to show their superiority to others, or demonstrate their vast, yet often redundant, knowledge
Now, Now, don't be a troll...
That was not at all helpful, and a un-necessary reply.
This is a valid question at which I am looking for information of why people do this. Such as Budgie said before you, at which i didn't think of. I'm looking for valid reasons why people post those comments, not opinions like yours. I was
not
looking to "
demonstrate superiority
", as you put it.
there are a lot of holiday quests that do count towards that achievement. Something some people probably wouldn't think about.
Yes, i didnt think of that and im not sure if those count. But the quest i was looking at was not a seasonal quest.

Right now I picture you as a blunt, humorless, rigid Nazi of a person; just like a mini-mod.
I'll post something relevant here later, my itouch is running out of battery.

Agreed, why do you call people that dis-agree with you a troll?

Its not that he disagreed with me. Its that he feels that people who disagree with others feel they are "superiority to others" in some way. Especially when he had nothing to say that directly answered or informed my question.

How does, "yes it counts toward The Loremaster/Seeker achievement" fit in any of those catagories?
Its not repetitve.
Its helpful to people wondering or unsure
Its not outdated since its still possible to get the achievement
Also its talking about the quest so its relevent.
Just because you don't like said comment doesnt mean you should downrate it when the comment has nothing wrong with it.
