Greetings Wowhead Goers,
I had a quick question about Rawr and my rogue(
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Forgotten+Coast&cn=Akyra
) not well geared i know(she is just an alt i have fun with). My question is twofold:
The Needle Encrusted Scorpion is listed on rawr as the best trinket i have available to me prior to frost emblems and raiding, i was wondering if this was accurate because i was under the impression ArP is not amazing for mut spec.
Mut Gemming, Was just making sure that the posts i'm reading aren't out of date, I should be gemming Agility, with a Tear to activate my meta right?
Thanks for your time.

Nes is bad the way the slow weapon in the offhand is bad. Which is saying, not horrible, if it's the best you can get at the point you're at take it, but there are a lot of trinkets from raids that are better, the 245 trinkets are good if you need the hit which you don't, but youve got a choice between the banner of victory and the nes to fill the other slot, or you'll be going for both, Nes is a viable five man available trinket for almost all physical dps simply by virtue of the crit, that and the fact that the confessor is a sore loser and a chicken, 20 runs and i've seen confessor three times and haven't even seen the banner, can't wait till it drops the day after i get an icc trinket.
Nes isn't particularly good, but it's not THAT horrible. Triumph badge trinkets, even if you're over the hit cap, can be useful if you make use of the cooldowns judiciously. Sitting over the poison hit cap isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it leads to more white swings, which means more poison applications, etc etc. Also, having two slow weapons is bad. Fast weapon doesn't necessarily go in the OH slot for mutilate like you need for combat.
iDPS or spreadsheet - don't use Rawr for rogues. It's broken and terrible.

MoS is arguably a great deal better than MoT and an upgrade to pyrite infuser. Triumphs fall from the sky.

Again, in most cases wrong, I am even starting to see a small movement of PvP rogues going to 1.4 MH deadly.
PvP does not equate to PvE. PvE has very specific and pretty much set in stone objectives to reach maximum DPS and thus damage done and faster boss kills. Math on test dummies over an hour does not equal the thousands of combat parses of millions of hits analyzed to make the math used for spreadsheets. All of them are pretty simple and most all of them are in the stickies.
