Will it have the same function?
Will it have a new 81-85 bracket?
Will it be a dead zone?
Will it cease to exist in it's current form?
Will it still give dailies?

1- Yes
2- Probably no
3- Maybe
4- It will still exist
5- Likely

You'll still have people trying to win it, as it gives an overall buff to leveling.

I predict, it will go the way of Silithus, EPL, Hellfire, and Zangarmarsh World PvP objectives.
It won't have a bracket because it doesn't now.
It won't give dailies because it doesn't now.
It won't cease to exist because Vanilla and TBC World PvP objectives still exist.
Most likely it will be more or less abandoned because of the addition of Tol Barad.

1: yhea, I don't see why they would change it.
2: no, WG isn't a battleground is an open zone, so even when you have to queue for it, it is still just an ordinary zone with no brackets.
3: so-so. Playeres above 80 will be more focused on leveling in the new zones (where the WG buff doens't apply) and since new raids will be out the main incentive for taking WG (wich is to raid voa and have free epics) will be gone, I mean how many people raid BC raids today? not many since the gear from those raids is easily replaceable by emblem loot.
so, only ones who would be intrested in doing WG are the people leveling their toons from 68 to 78 (wich is the min level required to quest in the opening zones of cata wich are hyjal and vashj'ir) and since the bonus is not that great, not many will bother with it.
on hellfire how many bother to cap all 3 buildings? not many, a lot just ignore them, quest and move on.
4: it will still exist in it's current form, just don't expect it to be as crowded as it is today.
5: it doesn't give daylies today, it gives weekly ones, and I can see those being done even at 80 as they are a rather nice bonus to honor being gained in a relatively easy manner. Unless they remove those or nerf the honor they grant.

The dailies (isn't it weekly quests there?) will see a cut in the money rewarded, like what happened in the island of QD.
Only because they aren't granting you as much XP being converted into gold. The actual gold reward will be the same, but the end total will be different. The SSO dailes weren't changed in any way when WotLK launched.
