Mulgore exit for new toons?

So as we know (from posted previews and pictures) the current exit from Mulgore into the Barrens is now gated up and faces into the south barrens, which has been claimed by the Alliance. Since I can't see Blizzard sticking new tauren toons into enemy territory, what do you think the plan is for our bullish brethren? Make them catch the (slow as all heck, only comes by every ten minutes or so) blimp to Durotar? A new pass through the north (possibly near where the blimp passes over? A free one-way flight to Crossroads?
Just wondering...

Well for one thing, it seems maybe south barrens will be a contested zone more or less, given the presence of desolation hold opposing the alliance keep there.
As for whatever else, the tauren will probably have to make use of the zepplins across the barrens more now, given the level change to the zone too.

There might be a quest similar to the ones in Northrend where a flight master will allow you to fly to the Barrens.
That seems to be the most reasonable thing to do. The blimp's pretty annoying, and you would still have to run through Durotar.

Most players attack low level towns, since most of them are rather lacking in backbone area and just want easy wins, hence why they gank low level players instead of getting a challenge and attacking the main cities.
I never see the point in raiding cities and towns, doesn't get me anything besides time wasted. lol

i guess it is a lot of trouble for newbie Tauren to go after finishing quest in Mulgore...
is Zeppelin really the only way to travel out of that zone ? if it's true that is lame......

There also seems to be a flight master in Bloodhoof Village, so it wont be that bad

Once the beta servers are back up, I'll roll a baby Sunwalker and test it.
(Captcha was "achatedi science." Just what are we doing to those poor achatedis in the name of knowledge?)

I remember seeing a pass on the northern parts of the Mulgore map, leading to Stonetalon Mountains I believe.
E:
Also i hope blizz make a good defense for TB, whit the ally´s in the barrens there will be a raid to TB every hour. I dont want to see a main city of the horde become a "Piñata Party" for the alliance.
I believe the Great Gate cannot be opened. Not sure though.

The "official" way out for lowbies is using the zep. Your first breadcrumb after finishing the zone will be to take it and report to Garrosh Hellscream in Orgrimmar. (after which you have a choice between Barrens or Azshara... or Silverpine/Ghostlands if you feel like traveling)

So Stonetalon Pass is only for convinience and a way in for Allys? Fair enough

Since I can't see Blizzard sticking new tauren toons into enemy territory
by shinji's name, SOUTH BARRENS IS NOT ALLIANCE TERRITORY!
jeez, alliance moves in, but the horde isn't just kicked out and lose the area, just so you know, there's 5 horde bases in there. and there's 4 alliance ones, and for extra touch one of those 4 bases (bael modan) is obliterated by a massive explosive that leaves a BIG crater on the ground.
if anything, the gate is there because (lore-wise) south barrens is a warzone, and thus not safe to travel for civilians, trading caravans, or inexperienced fighters.
Game-wise it's closed off to prevent lower players from getting killed, as you leave mulgore at lvl 10, but south barrens is now over lvl 40.
as for the actual answer to your question, Taurens can leave 2 ways.
A: wait for the zepeling that takes them to orgrimmar
or
B: take the north pass that takes them to Stonetalon mountains (hell u can even see the pass on the map)
now would people stop that crap saying "OMG alliance haz south barrens w00t"

They will go to Stone Talon Mountains. This is the new "second" zone for the tauren. If I remember right, they didn't want for the entire horde to always go to the barrens to level in that range. This is why they can now also go to azshara too.
Stonetalon is way too high for a ~level 11 tauren, unfortunately. You're best off going to Azshara (my choice :-)) or the Northern Barrens.

Only way I think it could be opened is through fire, lots of fire, but now seeing that the Tauren in Cata basically represent the Native Americans and the Alliance being the US, I kinda feel bad for them, I will never kill a Tauren ever again, but I will continue to call them steak...

Newbies don't even need the zep any longer unless they want to get there before level 10. Baine puts you on a wyvern to Org after
War Dance
.
(Captcha was "carved nuesaze." What sort of tools do you need for that, I wonder?)
