I've healed a bear druid in SH and he used no cc. And he didn't have to drink in between each pull or yell at the dps saying they don't understand how pally tanks build threat. :)

Its was the place where I learned about lots about threat based tanking on multiple mobs as an undead warrior. After numerous wipes on these seven mobs (first month of TBC) we did even not talked about this instance for 3-4 days but everybody was looking for revenge. On second try it was piece of cake :)
* Kill order
* Right timing of applying Thunderclap - Fear after pull (Enginner tank with bomb on pull is a plus)
* Sunder/revenge on legionere - Taunt 2nd mob - Shiedslam 3rd mob - Cleave rotation all till legionere down with shouts applied on CC'd mobs.
Once you done it, you will understand warriors rulezzzz no need to be tankladin.

I like shattered halls with a decent group... Not planning on doing the timed event again anytime soon tho...

I've been that bear Druid for both difficulties. It's difficult but some of those large pulls can actually be split if you use LOS correctly to get the casters to move before their combat pulse hits their friends. It's a lot to think about and watch for, but it's fun once you know what to expect.
On the other hand -- I wish I was a Paladin tank, sometimes. I really, really do.

My imo only hard part on heroic is last boss. You basicaly better not take melee classes(except tank) at all. As a warrior tank I never had problems with mass aggro, 1 devastate at primary target and then spam thunder clap. Should be max leveled though(thunder clap), it does more aggro.

Plus later instances like Magister's Terrace have 6 and 7 mob pulls in them, so buck up and get used to it!

My Prot Paladin's favorite instance. I've tanked it with 4 shadowpriests making up the group.
You'd pretty much have to to stay alive...
It was normal mode, not heroic. So stuff died quick enough for it not to be an issue. The block to heal trinket from there helps alot :), A couple of VT's allowed for more threat gen, which allowed for more dps.

These two heroic dungeons, Shattered Halls and Durnholde, should be not nerfed ever.
Only these left as a real challenge for pugs imho.
