It'll definitely be an improvement as far as GPU power goes.

Its the fps in raids that bothers me , its around 15-20fps. i know my cpu is good enough and the gpu is crappy and run hot , so I figure I should change it .

Whats your settings?
I use 2gb ram, AMD dual core 4800+ 2.4ghz processor, 9600GT and get 30 - 70 fps.
Once you check your settings and see the performance differences, judge whether you want the better card or your fine with what you have.
Try playing on absolute lowest settings, check your fps in dalaran and fly below dalaran and test fps there. Then try turn up the settings with the slider, keep doing it and see what the fps does.
If your at lowest settings and see 10 - 30 fps it's time to upgrade the card (processor and RAM are fine).

ive got it on the high preset, but with shadows at minimum , particle density at min , with glow effect off(don't like the way it looks), and death effect off.
time for a change? :)

A vast improvement, but if you can, try and stretch for the 5770, twice as many stream processors for not that much of a price increase.

Erm, 75 pounds vs 130 pounds. So yeah, kind of a big difference in price.
But still, the 5670 is a nice card, and it would run WoW on Ultra with pretty high FPS, even in Dalaran at peak hours and 25-mans.
Edit: by the way, got my prices from overclockers.co.uk (took the rough average).
I too shop from OC, but based on US prices and economy, it's cheaper for them than it is for us, even with wonderful companies like OC supplying us. Hence why I said what I did previously, I make no assumption that OP's are British :P
Both of the following are Powercolor models, and yet there's less than $30 difference, which by todays exchange rate would be equivalent to £20.09 :) Have to remember, OC don't stock all models by all manufacturers.
