So many threads to necro when it turns out Garrosh is a good guy and leader.
Got that right.
Also,time to ask some legitimate questions to the Thrall lovers;
1.
What is Thrall doing in Wrath of The Lich King?
2.
Where is Thrall in Northrend?
Oh yeah,no where.
3.
Where is Thrall in Icecrown Citadel?
4.
What has Thrall been doing in Wrath of The Lich King?
Sit on his butt in Orgrimmar all day?
people like yourself really are just complete conformists who only care about the newest shoes that come out when you already got perfectly decent shoes. In other words, fickle.
1: Thrall sent Saurfang and his forces to northrend, and appeared at the argetn games and the violet tower under the same reason Varian did.
2: Same as above
3: News flash, Garrosh did jack all in icecrown citadel, he just sat at the enterence hall and did #$%^. Saurfang made the step forward well Garrosh got babysat by Tirion.
4: You keep asking the same retarded question, and now using a double standard, how can he have been sat in orgrimmar all day if he did appear in northrend?
Your so prepared to kiss his ass that you even try to downsize other characters when he really hasn't done half of what you claim.
Wow that's very different from the original model. Is this how he looks in the comics? I like it though. Maybe exposure to gorehowl is corrupting him, making him look a bit more like a fel orc. The axe was plunged into a pit lords chest and owned for sometime by a Man'ari Eredar, Prince Malchezaar. The Malchezzar thing is probably going to be ignored though.
Now thats an intresting idea. Suppose if the Gorehowl was recovered, but corrupted by manaroth upon his death that grom killed him with, and now the same axe is corrupting Garrosh and driving him mad. Nice twist.
Alright Mr.Tauren
Why don't you give him a chance?
I honestly I do understand that if Garrosh was warchief in Wrath of The Lich King the horde would have been screwed,he would have never "worked" with the alliance throughout Northrend and we would have been fighting both The Scourge and The Alliance and we would have been completely overwhelmed..
And I will agree Garrosh is a little hot-headed and he is a little stubborn/rude,but give the guy a chance,we know his past actions have been bad but let's just see how he does from the start of Cataclysm till the next expansion.
We all know Garrosh is not going to be warchief anymore in the next expansion and Thrall will take back his place.
I know this won't make people from hating Garrosh but I mean really, just give him a chance..

No. simply put, I won't give him a chance.
The reason being because I foresee only 2 outcomes in whats to come in the future.
1: Garrosh does something reprehensable and shows himself as a villain or a coward or fool and not fit to lead the horde, giving Thrall the chance to reclaim his mantle and lead the horde proper.
2: There going to turn Garrosh into a mock up version of doomhammer and grom combined, and make it so the story no longer needs Thrall, and kill him off.
There has NEVER be a case of an ex-warchief following a new one, that warchief has always died first so the mantle is passed. You understand that?
And the very reason for hating Garrosh is due to the overwelming fact, that his is set to drag the horde backwards like a reflection of its dark past, before it regained his honor, and make them out to be the bad guys again.
I refuse to give anyone that does that, and changes the horde I love, a chance. Garrosh was a mistake by the writers.

Actually I just meant in general; no point in arguing with a brick wall after all.

No, Tauren.
Garrosh is a
brilliant
addition to the series. In every great story, there is conflict in all great bodies, both internal and external. I understand your love for Thrall. He is a great Warchief, no doubt about it, but do you honestly think that there would be any worthwhile development in the Horde with him as the leader until Warcraft is finally over? I can't even imagine how linear that would be. "The honorable and glorious Horde has finally come together and defeated the Scourge, the Burning Legion, and every other threat to the universe!" No thanks.
Take a look at any good movie. Even the fully-loaded action flicks of today are filled with conflict. How boring would
300
be if we didn't see the corruption in the Senate? What if
Gladiator
was the story of how Maximus was crowned emperor according to plan instead of being enslaved and forced to fight? At the heart of any good tale is inner conflict, something that the Horde has been lacking up until now.
Many people don't like Garrosh. Hell, I don't like him either. But you
cannot
deny that he is an excellent plot device and adds a bit of spice to the Horde. And I will say this: while I am against him, I do think he deserves a chance. Thrall is not a fool. You of all people should know that. He would not leave someone in charge if he did not have confidence that things would eventually turn out alright. Look at all the other great leaders the Horde has: Vol'jin, Cairne, Saurfang, just to name a few. He could have easily given control of the Horde to any of them, yet he chose Garrosh, and he did so for a reason. There is no use in saying that Garrosh will ruin the Horde when we don't even have the scarcest idea of how things will pan out in Cataclysm, nor is there any logic in saying so, either.
Good day, Tauren. Lok'tar Ogar, and walk with the Earth Mother.

Nice post Denkou... but I think your just bashing the wall, same as the others; Tauren has his mind made up about Garrosh, and nothing will change it.

I will agree with you, that Garrosh is an intresting plot device and serves to shake the horde in all the years its tried to recapture its sense of honor, he just seems intent on drowning that again.
However. With those you mentioned, Vol'jin, Cairne, Saurfang. All these heroes of the horde see Garrosh as a threat to all they helped build along with Thrall, it just strikes me as this won't there our horde, or there horde, but Garrosh's horde. And what happened the last time a corrupt fool lead the horde?

However, the last time a corrupt fool led the Horde, there weren't good advisers such as Vol'jin and Saurfang, it was just the Shadow Council. So I'd hold out a little hope that Garrosh will be reined in my his good councilors.
