Hi
I got some problems with lagg when im playing WoW. When I am doing 25 man raids, I tend to lagg alot. Im lagging more when I am DPS. But less when I am healing. The lagg is lowering my dps and healing quite alot and I wish I knew how to solve it. Im not that good in computers and so on but I know I got a good computer atleast. I can move and dps OK with the lagg, but I really wanna solve it and get my dps up prehaps 1k more! The lagg makes it harder for me to move around and stuff like that. I will list my settings and prehaps you might see anything that I can change to take away that lagg!
<
My settings
>
VIDEO
Vertical Sync
Triple Buffering
Hardware Cursor
Reduce Input lag
Windowed Mode
Disable Resize
EFFECTS
Specular Lightning
Full-Screen Glow Effect
Death Effect
Projected Textures
I got
Terrain blending
,
Shadow Quality
,
Enviroment Detail,
Ground Clutter Density
,
Ground Clutter Radius
,
Texture Resolution
,
Texture Filtering
,
Weather Intensity
&
Player Textures
on
LOW
But I got
Particle Density
on
HIGH
(I've heard its good for raiding to see stuff on ground etc.) and
View Distance
on
MIDDLE
I got 17.9mb addons, around 40-50 fps in org and 271 ms atm
Everything else I am doing is working perfect I dont lag at all but just when im doing 25 man raids!
So if anyone got any idea how to solve this I would be so happy! And if you got anymore questions just write here and I will reply back asap!
Thanks in advance.

What you're experiencing is known as low frame rate, and I can guess that you have a few components that could use an upgrade.
What is your CPU?
What is your video card?
How much RAM do you have?

4.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce9600M GT
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9400 @ 2,53GHz
Im using VISTA also!
I got a program called ''Game Booster''
''Game Booster is an easy-to-use program that shuts down unnecessary system processes in order to improve the performance of resource-thirsty games''

I got 2 buttons on my laptop. One is for normal performace and the other for increased perfomance, i always got that running.
I've seen that Vista might be the problem?

I'm going to bow out of this one. Hardware isn't usually my gig.

First of all, don't run in windowed mode, it's actually more strenuous on the GPU than running in Full Screen as it doesn't have to draw both the game and your desktop. The 9600M isn't all that great either, I'm sure your aware that Laptop GPU's aren't as powerful as their Desktop counterparts.
The reason you have a fairly decent Framerate in Org is because Org is 5 years behind the times and the poly count is not as high as Northrend. Anything Pre Burning Crusade is going to give you a moderately better frame rate.
All I can suggest for you is run in Full screen, lower the resolution. Ensure there aren't any processes running in the background that you don't need, WMP, Winamp, Office, Antivirus Guards etc etc.
