2vs2 help - Arms warrior/retri paladin

We are a Retribution Paladin and an Arms Warrior doing 2vs2 atm. We are currently at 750 rating (I know it's kinda low but we are doing progress atm :P)
Our strategy is to nuke one of the opposing team members as fast as possible - pref healer or cloth user.
Currently 3 classes is giving is some problems.
Mages:
Mages uses iceblock, which kinda interrupts our "nuking"-strategy. When their IB is done they blink and use shields and keep this up most of the fight. This means we have to run around - slowed - trying to kill someone, who probably will use IB when we reach him :(
What to do?
Boomkins:
Their starfall is a huge problem to us, since we have no healer in our group. It hits really hard and they are able to heal themselves meanwhile, which means we are having trouble nuking them fast. This means that we die :(
What to do?
Resto shamans:
They are able to heal themselves up on relative short time and then pop their instant ghost wolf and run around. Hamstring isn't effective on ghost wolf. This means it takes lots of time to kill it - and meanwhile the other opposing team member nukes on us.
What to do?
Hope that anyone is able to help us - we really want to get better rating.
P.S.
We want to start in 3vs3 aswell - any suggestions what our 3rd team member should be if we want to be succesful? :D

What to do?
Shattering Throw
Ice Block's gone.
Mobility shouldn't really be that much of an issue with your comp except against Frost Mages' Spellsteal. Hand of Freedom, Charge/Intercept, Hamstring, Cleanse should really do wonders.
Resto Shamans might be able to fully heal up, but your damage output through Mortal Strike, a timed Hammer of Justice and Unrelenting Assault should pratically make it impossible to heal through. Make sure the warrior has some pve gear, and an ArPen trinket. Destroy their most important totems.
You have perfect defensive cooldowns. Divine Shield is only not foolproof against Priests and Warriors to a lesser extent. Hand of Sacrifice does wonders. The ret can cast a couple of heals too. The warrior can go Defensive sword and board (Last Stand if available on your spec, Battlemaster's, Shield Wall, Defensive Stance, Enraged Regeneration. Nearly nothing can damage the warrior while all of those last.). Play aggressively, because this is a comp that relies on quick kills.
