What You Hope Will Happen to Garrosh.

Because of him there will actually be "War" in Warcraft. Wait,
what
?
Things generally aren't very peaceful when dragons are trying to chomp you, zombies are trying to eat your brains, and demons are trying to burn you to a crisp. So...if we need Garrosh for there to be war, I suppose the game must not have
any
of the above.
I might want to sig this...

Killed by Vol'jinn, and the crazy Shadowhunter actually gets some lore!

Fine, wrong name, I'll admit it. But still, other then architecture, haven't seen any 'proof' that Garrosh is going to run around killing children and women, or non-combatants. Heck, from what Saurfang says, most Orcs feel the same way, so if Garrosh does do that... wouldn't that mean he'll lose support and followers, and probably end up torn apart by his own commanders?
If that happens all the more for it, and I still stand by vol'jins words on that, that when (not if, I see this happening) it does happen that the orcs see garrosh for what he is, at that stage it'll be a question of what happens to him, does he turn over to the legion or blacks, become a raid boss, or in one final desperate act kills himself to right all the wrongs he's done, who knows.

Or he sees the flaw, realize what's he done wrong, steps back and let's Thrall take the reins again, and ends up just as the military leader, helping to take down Deathwing at the end of the expansion, humbled by his near miss into darkness. (yes, I'm tired of the whole 'oh he's gone corrupt, we have to kill him!, mentality that Blizzard has been using the last few years)

I wouldn't put faith in anyone who thinks its ok to murder children so they can't grow up and fight against you. And if Garrosh isn't a corrupt fel orc, then saying that just confirms he's demented.

He's never actually killed a child; for the most part, he sounded like some of those young soldiers who never actually fought before and have never taken a life. Had he actually done it, it's entirely possible his view would change. Again, this is one of the major things we have to wait on, as we still don't know everything about his 'reign' and what he does during it; yes we see Vol'jin talking back to him... but we don't actually know what they are talking about at that point, we just have the text not the actual quest that involves looking back in the past for it.

nothing makes more of a heroic martyr than getting iced....
should garrosh die, due to his own ineptitude, those who DO suport him would make a big deal about it, Thrall would prolly build a statue of him somehow, compose a new lokvanosh of him, and made him a big hero who strayed from the straight path all over again.
I'd rather he lives, and doesn't get killed, that way he can crumble in his own shame as no orc will be willing to follow him anymore, and when he tries to solve everything with violence, there comes thrall and beats him to submission only to leave a broken drunkard orc that scurries away in shame for bringning his father's name to the mud.
to end it all off, the ghost of greatmother geya could appear out of nowhere and show him how much she's disapointed with how he turned out to be.
Edit: actually adamsm, while garrosh hasn't killed a child, he stated in borean tundra that he wound't have a problem with it if he was given the chance, after all "he doesn't want them growing up to take arms against him"
is true that what you said, once he's actually killed a child he may be overcomed by regret just as saurfang was, but untill that happens, he's still a orcish version of Barthillas :P
and thanks for the compliment about my arguments about the desing of new org =) I do my best.
I'm not saying that the horde will be going fel again, those days are over, but I am saying that the new image is more aimed at shocking the players than an in-game defense mechanism.
image is a good psycological tool, and I loved more the "heroic" look the old ogrimmar had with it's stone and bone structures and brownish pallete, than the iron spikes, wolf heads, red and blood image the new one has.
new org doesn't feel heroic, it feels like a prison, I'm gonna get a serious claustrophobia when I'm in there =( And I've made a sandbox to see it for myself because pictures and videos are not the same.......
wanna know my conclutions? I just lost my home-away-from-home in warcraft.

I'll not deny, I'm got a solid grin here right now. That would be intresting...
But.. there is one problem...
Garrosh would be an easy method... of getting epics.
Lore </> Epics

Lore </> EpicsHeh, unfortunately, that be true. Still, like I said, I'd rather see Garrosh get a redemption(and not a last minute, fake one like Arthas), and possibly be something better come the expansions after Cataclysm.

He means war between factions.I'm fully aware of what he means. I simply think it's a ridiculous assertion.
I do not support Garrosh's past actions against the Alliance, but I will say that I DO want to see more hostility between the two factions rather than both sides being Super Diplomats and trying to promote peace. I want to kill some more Alliance and have a good reason for doing so other than Honor points, dammit!I have zero interest in PvP; I just want to kill the dragons, as it were. And I'm rather tired of people playing the "war = contrived faction conflict" card.
I might want to sig this...Son of a gun, I done been sigged!

I'm coming into this late (damn you work) so I'll just answer the thread title.
I won't go into specifics but it involves a strategically placed banana peel and an extensive series of sharpened propellers.

That's fine, and I respect that, but a lot of people
are
interested in PvP. Blizzard cannot simply focus on one aspect of the game and ignore the other, they must be (somewhat) balanced.

good
idea, as far as I'm concerned.
I roll on PvE servers so that I can kill dragons unmolested. Getting PvP shoved in my face is
not
my idea of a good time. If I have to tacitly consent to participate in what I consider a ridiculous ego-stroke minigame just to get a
fishing daily
done, it's already gone too far.

That wasn't the point of my post at all. I don't want players to be forced to PvP if they don't want to, and vice versa. All I was saying is that while I disapprove of Garrosh's past actions, I do like the fact that they escalate tensions between the Horde and Alliance, giving us a little bit of lore reasoning behind the PvP aspect of the game rather than just telling the players "K KILL EACH UDDRZ 4 phAT LeWST NAO".
It was more of a statement and less of a challenge of opinion or a complaint, really.
