I'm personally new to playing Demo too. EJ and other forums somehow fail to provide me with a proper rotation. But I asked other warlocks who play demo so I can share what I learned from them.
Get an add on called Power Aura's will help you track buffs.
The raid ideal spec would be Meta/Ruin which you can get from the EJ forums. Glyphs you'll use are, Life tap(be left out for quick decay), Meta and Felguard.
Priority,
- keep, Corruption, Immolate and CoD/CoE up, refresh when down
- drain soul IF you need shards
-shadow bolts as a filler
-when you get a buff called Molten Core, spam 3 incinerates.
(set power aura's for this buff to help you keep track)
repeat the same things until you get 35% which is when Decimation procs. from there own, spam soul fire until dead. (But it's still better to refresh your dot's when down)
When to use Meta?
Judgement for yourself. It's best use with Heroism/Bloodlust. But on a long fight like Prof Putricide any fight which last more than 2 mins, you can use it at opening, then save it for when Heroism is being used
Disagree with alot, read stickies.

I'd drop Meta for Quick Decay. Your improved Spellstone will be giving you a nice chunk of haste, and quicker (ie. more often) ticks of Corruption means an increased chance of Molten Core to proc.
- drain soul IF you need shards
Only on trash, it'll be a rather large DPS loss on bosses. You should go into a raid with 32 shards and it should last you most of the night.
EJ's nice, but sometimes the info can be out of date (they don't even have quick decay on their main Demon post). They're build is fine, I personally took a point out of Master Summoner and threw it into Mana Feed to squash in mana issues my FG might have.
Get EventHorizon and if Power Auras is too overwhelming for you, get NeedtoKnow.
Read stickies.

glyphs are LT, felguard and quick decay.
meta is a reasonable alternative to QD but is generally behind even under difficult to achieve "ideal conditions".
priority:
Demonology: - Life Tap
- Curse of Doom
- Immolate
- Corruption
- Soul Fire (if Decimation)
- Incinerate (if Molten Core)
- Shadow Bolt
you should never even think about using drain soul in a boss fight. that's what target dummies and trash is for.
i don't mind you saying that the info is not forthcoming over at EJ, their demo thread is horribly out of date, but i hope you realise that the information is very readily available and well maintained here.
edit: acabar said it all.

Glyph has been out since Wrath launched. It was rather lackluster (although TBH all our minor glyphs are pathetic).
Then
patch 3.1 came along...
Drain Soul: Each time Drain Soul deals damage to a target which can grant experience, it now has a chance to generate a Soul Shard.
This is where the cherished tradition of shard farming at dummies came into being. I get the feeling you haven't been playing warlock since post 3.1...
