Just because there is no tri-spec, that does not prevent you from spending 5 mins to visit a trainer and just pay for a re-spec. Is 5 mins and 50g really too much to ask?
Three of those and even my richest character is broke... Just saying...
Then you should learn how to make money in WoW. If 150g makes your richest toon broke, then you have other things you should probably think about doing....just saying...
World of Warcraft is a game. You're meant to have fun while playing it. If I don't find making money fun, then why would I do it?
Because, sadly, gold is needed in this game for a variety of reasons. And it's not hard to make gold these days. Some of the ways can actually be pretty fun.
And on an unrelated note: Necroooooo hoooooooo. Sorry, no one else said it.

Except I'm orrible at making money.
I only lose money at the AH
I despise dailies
I spend my money on mounts and pets constantly; which is ALL I spend money on.

Blizz have already done all the hard work when they implemented dual-spec. Extending it to 3 or more specs would be trivial (think of the current equipment manager interface). I dont see why you'd even need to pay much for it.

I dont think a 3rd specc would be necessary for most classes, and overpowered for some.
Pure dps classes already have the benefit of being able to have one dedicated pve specc and one pvp specc.
Shammies, druids and pallys Ā“those classes talent trees already have great trees already. A pve dps specc also works in pvp, there are very few points that differs. So they basically get 4 roles to perform with 2 speccs already.
dks and priests are kinda in the same boat as pallies etc, but less op.
Warriors could use a 3rd specc though. A warrior usually has a pve dps specc and a tanking specc, making them gimped for pvp. Or a pvp specc and a pve specc, making them unable to tank, or in case of a tank offspecc a gimped dps specc in pve.
So, a 3rd specc is a great idea, but it should be restricted to warriors only imo.

I think its okay idea because gear is the thing what you need and not spec. So yeah tri spec did not hurt me. And only hard thing is about spec is the gear so yeah. Respec is like 50g so its easy and not hurting your money much.

I actually have a personal rule, never buy gear w/ gold. Because all the thousands of gold that goes wasted after every patch. I have proffesions to craft and I'll VP/JP farm. Thats it.
I honestly don't bother doing anything for new gear, short of raiding when I feel like it.
I've completely stopped with LFG and still haven't maxed my blacksmithing.

the talent specs are only nuances apart. Although; they are game breaking nuances...
50g + 5 mins = game breaking? I'm thinking that you have different views of the terminology for "game breaking" than Blizz.
It's an extreme irritant if you want to do something such as complete a dungeon, see that Tol Barad (For example) is in progress or about to start, but have to do it in a PvE spec of some sort because there's simply not time to switch. Or for those with a limited amount of time to spend on whatever it is that they're doing they simply lose time for the irritation of having to specifically go to a class trainer, respec, setup talents and glyphs, then actually get started doing whatever they want to do. I know I want to do a lot of BGs occasionally, but I tend to dungeon with a friend or do older raids. Constantly switching specs could easily waste me hours of my time. For the raids in particular, I have to use both shadow and discipline PvE specs for the fights. For dailies I need a shadow spec, while dungeons I use my discipline spec. I can't really PvP often because I simply don't have the time to throw away constantly respeccing. Allowing a third spec would hardly break the game, particularly if it had a hard gold cost, such as 5k or 10k. That's 100 - 200 respecs. That seems more than a reasonable cost for the convenience it would offer. And honestly, what DOWNSIDE is there?

Considering if they did implement a third spec and it cost 10K gold, it wouldn't actually harm anyone. It might be more bothersome in that you'd need a whole 'nother set of gear, thus the trouble with storage (except that'll be fixed in 4.3~), but it's not like it'll harm anyone. Glyphs might tweak out for a bit, but they'll settle soon enough. The classes that are nothing but DPS wouldn't need to freak out; no one is forcing them to purchase the third spec (unless they reeeeeeeeeaaaally wanted the achievement). I like the idea of a third spec personally. You can't (well maybe some of you can) imagine the friggin' pain of swapping specs every day or two just so I can go wreck faces in WG on my warrior, then back to my main Fury spec and Arms OS, or Prot OS should my guild need me to take some hits for the team.
P.S. I think I shat a lego brick when I found out that dual specs were available at lvl 30 and only for
30
gold.

they said they wouldn't do it because it would only be usefull to 2 or 3 classes.
