Consider the range of benefits available to females on maternity - these come at a cost to the companies. In an equal world, they would either not get these benefits, that males would also get these benefits (slowly starting to happen around the world, but not to the same degree of benefit), or that women will get lower pay in order to equalise the cost to the companies (currently happening).
Men in Canada can take paternity(?) leave or the mother and father can split the time between them, to their choosing.
Yeah, it's starting to come around in Australia as well. But see, I don't mind that. That's still promoting equality, rather than trying to justify why women should have equal pay, whilst still getting a raft of benefits above and beyond what men do.

But when it's about employment, there's no such possibility that some race, gender or religious belief is so bad that they couldn't even apply for that job.
A devout jew applies for a position preaching in a Christian church.
A man walks into a battered women's facility and applies for a position of meeting the battered women after hours.

A devout jew applies for a position preaching in a Christian church. It has been argued that this would be fine, and ok. I don't think so, because the Bible teaches against hipocracy. How could someone preach Christianity but not practice? How could someone who is a devout Jew tell people they need to believe in Christ in one sermon, and then tell them not to be hipocritical in the next? This makes sense to you guys? Really?A man walks into a battered women's facility and applies for a position of meeting the battered women after hours.
...
Some of you also said this would be fine. Some women are so traumatised by domestic violence that they don't want to have any contact with men. If a man were working alone in this position, there would be some women who wouldn't even make it through the front door. How could that possibly work?

About the devout Jew:
the BIBLE teaches CHRISTIANS to not be hypocrites. An atheist wouldn't need to oblige to that
So, you are saying that the Jew could be a hypocrit, and it really wouldn't matter to the people who are listening to him? Interesting. I don't buy it though. Any congregation would not want to put a self professing hypocrit up on the pulpit to tell people not to be hypocrits. It wouldn't bode well for them. I would find it a good reason to exclude him from applying to be Christian preacher.
