Find yourself a good guild. I have been playing Wow for a little over two years and I finally found one myself last month. A good guild is hard to find, but once you find one, it really makes running raids so much easier. Ninjas suck, especially when you have to 'pug' for raids. Also, ask for the rules before you commit to the instance. If they don't follow them, /ignore them and move one. Good luck.

There was recently a story posted up here where someone actually got ran off a server for something like this. They did a VoA or OS run or something, then master-looted everything herself and tried to sell it all back to the raid. Last I heard, she had basically been black-listed on the server completely.
Regardless of anecdotes, this isn't cool
unless
this was outlined as the loot rules before starting the run, which I completely doubt.
