Lich King 10! Trans Phase?

Heya and hello! =D
My guild's core team finally owned up and took down Sindragosa this Sunday, and we are on LK10 Normal mind you. We are owning phase 1 after 2 hours of practice, but every trans phase we get powned by avenging spirits. Now, there is nothing really wrong with our dps, but we strugle. Any1 had the same problem? I was thinking about putting our resto shaman on ice spheres, to free up a range dps, but i have no idea how heal heavy that phase is... any ideas please post =D

I think it's raging spirits, but w/e, not gonna nitpick ;-)
first of all, the raging spirits need to be tanked facing away from the raid. The reason for this, is because they do a frontal cone that hurts, and that stuns. And because it stuns, your tank will be taking a bit more damage. The best way to face em is towards the middle, since you'll be kiting them that way once P2 starts anyways.
The way my guild did it:
Your raid should be spread out a little bit. Casters and healers in 1 spot, tanks and melee in another. When someone gets the debuff that spawns an add, they move into melee. 1 caster deals with snow orbs.
Offtank (the one not tanking LK in P1 obviously) keeps the remainder of the P1 adds (and the plague) away from the raid at the start of the phase, until all of em are dead and the plague is gone. After that he joins the MT.
Meanwhile, your MT already picked up the first raging spirit. DPS it down asap (obviously), and let the OT pick up the second and third spirit. That way, there's no need for unnecessary taunts.
You will enter P2 with AT LEAST 1 spirit alive. Tank it next to LK in the middle of the platform, still facing it away from the raid. DPS it down before moving back to LK.
Valkyr is more important to DPS down than the spirit, remember that.
O, and your OT should have a cd ready when he needs to taunt LK (due to soul reaper) and the add is still up...

If transition phase is trouble for you, you're in for a treat in P2 :D Valkyrs + Defile takes a lot of practice. Hardest part of the fight to master imo.
O, and the second transition phase is harder than the first (because he spawns 1 add more), we even popped BL in that part of the fight *hides*

Really? They did not seem to spawn instantly yesterday. We have always had the player with a skull (DBM marks it automatically) move to melee.

We got no trouble with the tanking, was wondering if our shaman perhaps could do the ice, he is resto, but i guess that depends on our skill =)

Also note that sometimes OT will have lots of adds with disease on him and it may take up to half a phase for them to die, so your MT needs to be ready to pick most of the spirits by himself.

Except the split seems to be two to your main tank and third to your off tank. Least how our runs normally end up...

It silences, it doesn't stun. It can be dispelled as it is a magic effect.
Correct, forgot about that. In that case, forget about the added damage due to stun as well :p

The Valk'yr is more important, correct, unless it captures a prepared Warlock. However, you are free to tank the Raging Spirit(s) on Lich King and on the Shadowguard as long as your tank is capable of facing it away correctly so that nobody else is getting hit by Soul Shriek, so that cleaves can be used.
I prefer it the other way around, main dps on the add, while cleaves and stuff can be used to hit LK at the same time. Tanking them next to each other seemed like common sense to me, hence why I didn't mention it. Everyone should go to the middle (for max valkyr travel time) anyways.

Or your MT can just pop a CD of their own and not risk your OT dying by bad timing of taunt / soul shriek before they can pop their CD.
Or that, yes. As I said, only killed the bastard once. A few weeks ago. Struggling on hcs makes my brain deteriorate -_-
