(( Da trolls. ))
Zeramas slowed to a halt directly over Gundrak. The two liches then teleported themselves and a group of their minions to the ground and entered the troll city.
From a distance, William, Brekk, and a tauren hunter named Pterus Wynnd - assigned by the Argent Crusade to work with them - watched as the liches disappeared into the darkness. A part of William didn't like the idea of working with a member of the Horde, but it was on the orders of the Argent Crusade, and even the Light told him not to harm the hunter.
"We'll have to move quietly if we don't want them to see us coming," Pterus said. "That was we'll have the element of surprise when we attack."
"Our orders were to observe only," William reminded the tauren. "We'll move in to see what they're doing and then return to the Argent Stand to give our report."
"Think, boy," Pterus snorted in reply. "These Scourge didn't charge up through ours and the troll's defenses to get here, they moved over us, as if to slip in quietly. They're after something here, that much is clear."
"I'm sorry, 'ordie," Brekk interjected, "But William's right, orders 're orders. We'll what those rotters are up to, but then we're 'eadin back to the stand. Ye'r welcome to stay 'here, though, if ye so desire."
Pterus sighed. "Very well, let's move in." The three quietly moved towards the entrance of Gundrak.
...
"Joo not goin' any further, mon," the leader of a group of Drakari trolls that blocked Nalor's path stood in defiance of the flame lich. "Turn back now, and meybe we be lettin' joo live."
"
I have no time to this
," Nalon rasped. "
Kalypso, remedy this situation for me
."
The troll lich cackled and icy magic swirled through her skeletal frame. The trolls charged, but quickly toppled over as their joints froze soldier. Now unable to even attempt to save themselves, they succumbed, one by one, to the chill of death.
The necromancers in the group raised the fallen trolls into their service and then sent the icy zombies ahead. "They shall deal with any opposition that lays ahead, my lord."
"
Excellent
," Nalor said, rubbing his boney hands together eagerly. "
Now, which way was this
'power'
that you spoke of, my apprentice
?"
"Dis way, masta," the smaller Lich said and floated ahead of the group, Nalor and his minions following behind.
There was only one other group of trolls block their path, and they were already being slaughtered by the zombies the necromancers had raised. Kalypso led the group past the carnage and to a small tunnel, easily spotted but only large enough to just barely fit any would-be adventurers. "It be down 'ere," Kalypso said, and started down the tunnel.
Nalor and his minions followed, relived that the tunnel soon opened up into a much larger room. "
I fail to see what you said would be here, Kalypso
," Nalor said, more then slightly peeved that he'd been dragged all this way for, quite apparently, nothing.
"Dere is only one last doorway before our destination, masta," Kalypso said, motioning towards a final passage.
Nalor flaoted towards and trough it, him impatience getting the better of him, and was immediately attacked by a massive gorloc. A blast of flame sent the frog-like creature flying back against the far wall. It tried to recover, but Nalor struck it again with a constant wave of flames. He did not relent in his attack until the liquids in the gorloc's body boiled it to death.
"
You may have overlooked an obstacle, Kalypso
," Nalor hissed.
"I 'ad t'ought dat it was dead, masta," Kalypso said as she floated into the room, flanked by Nalor's other servants. "I beg forgiveness."
"
Bah
," Nalor spat, "
never mind it. Now, what is it that I am looking for
?"
"It be right dere, masta," the liched troll said, motioning towards a large puddle.
Nalor looked at the puddle. There was a heavy odor of magic, of power, behind it. "Mojo.
Pure troll mojo
." Nalor's boney grin seemed to widen. "Very
well done, my apprentice
," he turned and floated out of the room. "
Have a group of minions come and collect as much of this as possible
," he directed to one of his more intelligent servants. "
I want it brought back to Zeramas
."
"Joo 'ave a plan in mind, masta?" Kalypso said inquisitively.
"
My dear apprentice, you don't know the
half
of it. Remain here to oversee the collection process. I'll await your return within the necropolis
."
"Jes, masta."

Kind of a weird name for a Tauren, but a good read nonetheless.
Alos, what's your oinion on this RP I'd like to launch;
There must always be a Lich King.
Even after the death of its King, the Scourge lives on. At the very moment Tirion Fordring dealt the final blow to Arthas, the Undercity was raided.
Scourgelord Falton, a powerful Forsaken Death Knight who had so far remained behind the scenes, gathered every remaining Scourge of Lordearon and attacked the former capital. He was assisted by a sheer number of Scourge spies in the Forsaken society.
He now proclaims himself to be the new Lich King (albeit without Frostmourne, instead wielding his own Runeblade, Heartpiercer) and controls the Plaguelands, Tirisfal, Silverpine and Hillsbrad. He constantly assaults Quel’thalas, Gilneas, Arathi Highlands, Alterac Mountains and the Hinterlands.
The fact that one major evil was immediately traded for another severely hurt the morale of the Horde and Alliance forces. Azeroth is now dependant on individual heroes to end the Scourge once more.
This is Death’s End.

Writer's Commentary:
Another character added to the chapter:
Name: Pterus Wynn
Race: Tauren
Gender: Male
Class: Hunter
Lore: Traveling across Northrend with his faithful pet worg, Fearless. Pterus is there to help fight the Lich King, by taking missions from anyone who would hire him. Why does he fight the scourge? It is because the scourge killed his entire village. You may think hes out for vengeance but he is not, his ultimate goal is to prevent others from feeling the suffering lost that he has.
Easily stated, I felt that I had to change the name because, as it was pointed out:
... Sounds a bit too much like The God of Chins Wrynn
Even so, I've left everything else about him the same, and be expecting more characters very soon.
Three living + Against the might of the Scourge = Bad idea. A poorly written equation, but I think we get the idea.
