So, I have some troubles with mana in my destro spec. Without suppression, I'm under hitcap, but I feel like there must be some way to either make my mana usage more efficient, or that there is some magical way to spec into both suppression and replenishment.

Is dropping Demonic Aegis (
) and picking up pyroclasm viable in any way?

this thread was dealt with on the first reply
Use
Life Tap
. Alot.
beyond that your raid has a responsibility to provide its members with replenishment which it sounds like they're not doing.
all that aside though, warlocks don't have mana issues. if you
do
then you're doing it wrong

lol, if you think i'm being selfish you've misunderstood me.
of course the warlock is part of the raid and if the raid leader decides that the warlock should be the one to provide replenishment then i hope the warlock will do their bit and go destro. however, blizzard designs raids around the idea that they will have sources of replenishment and any decent raid leader will make sure they have it covered.

Not taking it to squeeze out a few percent more DPS is short-sighted in the extreme.
As destro, using suppression is a dps loss compared to the replenishment spec.
Suppression build should only be used if you are far from the cap and can't gem for the missing part.
While true RL should cover the replenishment aspec of the raid, often times its overlooked, especially when pugging. As soon as you can reach hit cap without suppression, you should respec 13/58, pull more dps and make yourself that much more usefull to the whole raid.
