Was doing CoS H with a ret paladin friend. We finished pulls (started, killed the mobs, went to the next wave) before the tank got there.
Let me see get the drake mount in the same fashion and then I will be impressed :)
We did still had around nine minutes left on the timer when we hit the drake.

1.) If you rush me, i will walk. (Tanks determine the pace, based on how comfortable they are with the instance. Rushing them to pull faster is a good way to wipe.)
Me being a healer I will tell you to pull More mobs. You know that room before the 1st boss in DTK with like 20 mobs in it? I had a 35khealth paladin standing there marking the 1st group to pull, like COME ON I AM T9/T10 GEARED!
It's not always an issue of whether or not they can survive, it's if they can hold aggro on that many. Then again, a paladin shouldn't have issues with that. As a warrior tank, I stop at around half the room so I can ensure none get loose.

The real code of tanking:
1. You are the leader of the group, like it or not. Therefore, everything that happens is as much your fault as anyone else's.
2. If a DPS pulls before you, grab agro (if you can't you shouldn't be tanking). After the pull is over, politely ask them to let you pull, explain to them that it makes it so much easier for you if they let you pull. DPS that won't stop doing it are rare.
3. If you're having agro issues, mark targets. Don't whine about it, accomplishing nothing, but take a couple seconds to mark and most issues will magically vanish.
etc, I don't want to quote it all and spam the page.
I think this guy has it all right.

The high dps in your group says:
1. when you start to run to the mob/boss don't stop just outside aggro range like you suddenly changed your mind. I'm timing some cast to hit just after you do. So when you stop, I might not see it until to late.
2. if you can't hold aggro then I get to call you a "tard tank". Get used to the term if holding aggro is an issue.
3. I'll wait to start AoE if you'll get your ass in there. If you are in the middle of the pack, I start RoF and 2 of them turn to me then it's YOUR fault.
4. If you run to the next pack before the last on is done and the last group turns on me. It's YOUR fault.
5. Stop thinking the sun rises & sets over your ass. It doesn't.
Sounds like someone has no idea what the phrase Aggro Management means.
If the tank is doing a terrible job of keeping aggro, either leave or adjust yourself to the tank. Otherwise, you're a tard dps.
