personaly in a duel i use only spirit wolfs and fire elemental, and i wil never pop heroism becouse that spills the cooldown(i onlyuse it when that pesky undergeared rogue keep killing me)
i think thats the same for the moost classes.

Using things which haven't been considered by blizzard could be overpowered versus/for certain classes.
Thistle Tea perhaps?
They might have not considered it but they still put it in the game. I don't drink tea so I don't know what you mean with that.
thats exactly how it happens isn't it?
It has happened a few times, yes. I never whined about it, though. What was your point?

Swift Thistle Tea. Pop one of these and full energy bar. I think it has no effect after a certain lvl

Okay, thanks. I didn't know that as I hardly peeveepeed on the lower levels.
So you lose once to that. Live and learn. If it happens to you again it is your own fault. The counter is simple: bring your own tea. :)

Shad what are you tryin to prove? People that complain about the use of pots in a duel only do cuz they think thats 'against the rules' or 'unfair'.
As Ive said IDK how many times in this thread, duels are 'light' pvp. I hope that makes sense to you. if not my explaination wont amount to much to you.
If you pop a pot in the BGs and it results in you living and your target dying, is it 'against the rules' or 'unfair'? You came prepared and they didnt. Its that simple.
The only difference between a duel and pvp is that the loser doesnt die. Pot Popping only shows a person's knowledge of when to use them. I see nothing wrong with using what ya know.

Sometimes simplicity is the only way to get thru to you.
I dont concider a pot in PvP a crutch. You said that death in the bgs may result in tide turning events that result in your faction winning. Does popping a pot still count as a crutch?
As for pot popping in a duel, is it a crutch if the pot that was used was a rage pot for a warrior? Is it a crutch to generate rage instantly, so they can perform?

Dodge passes.
Heres the one that connects. Rage pots are defined to the warrior class. I think that makes them viable for pvp/duels.

Does popping a pot still count as a crutch? yes, because you are using a tool, not defined to your class profession, to win something you wouldn't normally be able to win
Ability or not they are defined to the warrior class, so its not a crutch.
There are many things that a warrior (or druid since you brought them into this) wouldnt use, but they are available to them. A warrior wont use Mocking Blow in a duel due to the lack of dmg. A druid wont use Hurricane in a duel due to the fact it has to be channeled and is easily avoidable.
These are things wouldnt want to be used or needed in a duel, but they are viale because they are defined to their respected classes.
Next arguement

Ok as an alchemist and herbalist, i really dont get why me being flasked (flask of the north), using endless healing potion and lifeblood to selfheal is cheating, while you get better stats from being a jewelcrafter+enchanter. My flask does about the same as your ring enchants, take off your super-gems and ill stop selfhealing, take of your ring enchants and ill take off my flask.
Not directing to someone particular in thread, i just dont agree that my profession skills is vastly op to other profession skills.

Only rule I know is if your against a warrior let them charge first or they will cry.
Some rogues think it's their right to start with a sap. I'm not allowed to shadowfury them if i see them. Tools.
