Just got back from a 10 episode Arrested Development season 4 marathon with my mates. Had to cut it 5 episode short of the season, but it's damn amazing as expected.

Welcome to when it first aired. I couldn't look at the IMDB message board without someone posting this.
And I like the concept. And believe that if we were to ever lose power for everything, that's what it would be like.
And Adamsm, how come you don't watch shows until after they aired a season?

No cable/satellite, and I prefer to just watch them in large blocks.
And it is true; these people are really really clean for living in a after the end type of world.

Ahh, yeah I can see the appeal of watching them in large blocks.
Yeah I saw how clean they were. And a lot of people brought up the fact that they could still make soap to clean themselves. But their clothes don't even have a little wear on them. But it just seems like something they looked over when doing the wardrobe.

Oh I'm sure they do, but as it's just the first episode, pretty much everyone is clean, and a lot of the back grounds are too; beyond that, the show is enjoyable.
Edit: To put it in perspective, I also watch Falling Skies, where it is a gritty world...of course, it's a different reason for why but still.

I watched up until the one episode where they were at the trainstation, then I lost interest after that. Not sure why though.
I'm looking forward to Franklin and Bash though. I like those shows where they also add in a fair bit of comedy with everything. Recently I have been watching Psych, and I enjoy it.
And I'm also watching Royal Pains and Necessary Roughness since the seasons just started last week. Also looking forward to Under the Dome.

Yeah looking forward to Under the Dome; isn't going to be exactly like the book, which is a good thing(I loved the book, but the reason for the Dome was a bit of a twist that wasn't really needed). Hopefully my antenna is gonna work, and I can get Global on my TV; otherwise, will just be waiting.

You could always try looking online. I know some stations like to air their shows a day after they air on TV. They did that with Supernatural on the CW website.

Doesn't work up here; can't watch tv series on the American networks, and the Canadian sites don't always work correctly.
And to be completely honest: I hate commercials, so it's easier to just watch it later, which if I do watch it on the computer, is usually early in the morning, or in that last hour before I go to sleep.

Ah, that sucks. Hopefully you can pick it up with the antenna though. I hear that a lot of people are using that for local news stations and just use computers to watch shows online.
If/when I move out, I plan on just getting internet to watch things online.

So what are some of the new good shows this year?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is pretty funny. I'm also watching Reign, which is about Mary Queen of Scots while she is a teen, and The Tomorrow People, yet another show that is based on a UK one. As well as continuations of Supernatural, Arrow, and Grimm.
Sadly I'm missing all the shows on CBS because our provider is having problems with them.

SWEET GOOGLY MOOGLY!...Maybe, possibly, if they go Game of Thrones route and not turn it into a stupid rom/drama a la True Blood/Vampire Diaries.
So watched the finale of Misfits....You know, it went out like it came in: Funny and people died.
Watched the first episode of Believe; has echos of Touch to it, but it should be really good as time goes on.

I'm hesitant to accuse Brooks of selling out, but he should have waited for a decent creative team to come along and adapt the series. This is gonna turn into the poor man's Game of Thrones for people without HBO. Still better than making each book into one movie though. I wish they went the TV series rout with Harry Potter. It would have been much more appropriate with the ongoing narrative style that Rowling used with multiple climactic points per story.
Anybody checked out Hell on Wheels?
