Advice on instance healing 70-80

Hey all, first post here even though I've been reading a lot on these boards.
I have picked up my priest again and dual-specced it so I can solo quest as shadow and heal instances. So far I've healed UK and Nexus a handful of times, and somehow I always seem to go out of mana rather fast.. I'm currently using holy as the healing build, but maybe I should change to discipline since it seems more suitable for normal instances between 70 and 80?
At the moment I just use what seems suitable for the situation - mostly FH, PoM, renew, lots of shielding the tank and the occasional PoH.. this just seems to eat up my mana pool real fast. From what I've read, lots of shielding would probably be better overall if I was disc?
Maybe I go OOM fast because I just have quest gear that mostly consists of damage gear without spirit?
Anyways, here's my holy spec at the moment:

I'm thinking about changing to this:

Any tips or constructive input would be great.
Thanks in advance!

I totally have the same problem on my 72 priest; I've healed all the beginner WotLK 5-mans with a standard Disc. build, but still seem to be drinking quite frequently. Here's what I've kind of done to minimize this:
Stack spirit above anything
. Unless the new piece of gear has, like, +30SP or something, if you drop spirit for it, don't do it. Spirit = More Regen. However, when you hit 80, spirit is actually quite a bad stat for Disc, so don't continue lol.
Heal as little and as sparsely as possible
. By this I mean; keep everyone alive, but don't worry about keeping them at 100%. Also, break apart your heals as much as possible. Maybe cast 2 or 3 FH and a shield, followed by 15 seconds of nothing. This maximizes the
5sr.
Stock up on Mana Potions beforehand.
I basically never walk into a group without one or two, even if I don't think I will need them. If you have alchemy, get yourself an Endless Mana Potion as soon as you can; it will save a ton of money, and when combined with the Alchemist Stone you can make, restores quite a bit of mana
Practice, Practice, Practice.
A large amount of healing pre-80 is the ability to control your output with your current mana situation. After healing a lot, you learn to predict how much damage the tank will take, how much your heals will hit for, how much mana you will regen in-between casts, etc. This leads to more informed decisions on which heal to use, and as such, better mana efficiency.

Alright, I respecced disc and healed a couple of instances, and I gotta say that I can keep going quite a bit longer than before when I was holy. But, I've also ran into a few bad groups that still had me drinking a little more than I should've had to.
Many many thanks to those of you who replied, it's been a long time since I last got these good answers on a board! :)
