Last month I started a warrior. My goal was to just have a chr to play from time to time and to use some of the boa items.
I went fury and its a little slow but do able I guess. Then when I look at every lowbie warrior they are arms. Am I missing out and should I be arms (level 22 now) and don't mind changing to whatever makes leveling faster.
Well I got him the shoulders and chest and wanted to get him a weapon.
But Reforged Truesilver Champion 2H sword is all I can get, out of seals and have to use shards.
Is a 2 hand sword ok or do lowbie warriors have to have the axe?

The axe is better, but nothing is wrong with the sword, if you don't care too much about really decking out your alt in heirlooms. As for leveling, Fury is fine, warrior leveling is slow period in the early going. You could probably go prot right now and not be significantly slowed down until level 50 or so. But Arms tends to be the fastest. Lesser gear requirements to get the most out of the spec, and more powerful early talents(sans Cruelty). BoA weps make Arms even better, as you never have to worry about respeccing based on your weapon choice, you can pick one and run with it all the way to 80.

The sword is actually great if you're a human, and even better if you pick up the Sword Spec. There's nothing wrong with it.
If you want the axe you don't have to use shards, the vendors in Dalaran sell exactly the same thing for Emblems of Heroism.

Faster isn't necessarily better for an Arms warrior, due to Mortal Strike being based on the damage, not the DPS, of the weapon.
