Again, your all getting riled up for nothing; we know
NOTHING!
about the actual quest at this time, all we saw is a screen shot of a Worgen fighting a Forsaken mob.... but there are no children around, no npcs at all. You just see it as lit up in his quest log; for all we know, the 'Save the Children' quest is another area of the map.
There is no reason to start a flame war about this.

I would like to point out that throughout history there have been wars where children and everything else have been killed.
It is called a total war: meaning that not only is your army killing military opposition but it is killing "enemy" civilians, burning their houses, ****ing women ( i dont like that word very much), capturing or killing children and just pretty much burning all in their path.
And while total war is an efficiant (note how i said efficiant and not "morally sound") way to battle, it becomes very innefective if there are political parties standing next to you.
For example: during the Roman times Roman soldiers would have almost no issue with burning all in their path if ordered and almost all Romans simply accepted it as a standard in war.
No let's say for instance there was another world power at the time we shall call X that, while powerful, abhored the mentality of total warfare and would commit to war with anyone who commenced in it.
The Romans who have no desire to get into a fight with the equally powerful X would likley stop it's ways of total warfare, despite losing possible effiancy, in order to stay on X's good side.
This shows a bit how the politics work out.
As for the Forsaken I highly doubt (even though they are more than capable and willing to) would commence total warfare due to the fact that if they did it is likley that Thrall and all those standing next to him would hunt down Sylvanes (as she leads the Forsaken) and her allies and commence to have a war with them.
so yes although it's possible the Forsaken are killing children i highly doubt it as they probably don't wanna $%^& of Thrall anymore...especially after Wrathgate
Thank you all and please forgive wall of text, spelling, grammer etc.

att thrall isn't the warchief... garrosh is so i don't think he would have a problem declaring total war.
ah but do remember that while garrosh is Warchief even he has a sense of honor. Remember he was raised Mag'har...honor is everything.
and although hes not chief anymore Thrall would still wtfpwn Garrosh and anyone else if they killed kids

Remember though Garrosh was trying to make Saurfang feel better about the situation he did not in any of his sentences say that killing kids was OK, rather he said basically that he understood why it had happened or something along those lines. His intents were good in this case although ill admit i sensed some evil ideas flowing in his head

?
I thought kids were off limit out of honor for both sides?
Seems kinda sick and twisted to me.
*** Its the quest "Save the children"
Have you heard of Garrosh Hellscream?
Saurfang: I drank of the same blood your father did, Garrosh. Mannoroth's cursed venom pumped through my veins as well. I drove my weapons into the bodies and minds of my enemies. And while Grom died a glorious death - freeing us all from the blood curse - he could not wipe away the terrible memory of our past. His act could not erase the horrors we committed.
(High Overlord Saurfang pauses)
The winter after the curse was lifted, hundreds of veteran orcs like me were lost to despair. Our minds were finally free, yes ... Free to relive all of the unthinkable acts that we had performed under the Legion's influence.
(High Overlord Saurfang nods.)
I think it was the sounds of the draenei children that unnerved most of them ... You never forget ... Have you ever been to Jaggedswine Farm? When the swine are of age for the slaughter ... It's that sound. The sound of the swine being killed ... It resonates the loudest. Those are hard times for us older veterans.
Garrosh: But surely you cannot think that those children were born into innocence? They would have grown up and taken arms against us!
Yes, we all have heard Garrosh.
Anyone whos read Rise of the Horde will know, that at the dark portal opening by Gul'dan, he murdered an innocent draenei girl, to the horror of durotan, to open the portal. So children are not off limits in warcraft.

The real question is if its ok.
And its not.
Besides, there is little difference in between Sylvanas and Gul'dan, and the Forsaken and Shadow Council.
Forsaken = Evil.
Right... and to some orcs, humans = evil, to some night elves, high elves = evil, to some... so on and so on. You can say that about anyone.

Thats what I like about you Adam. Your held on your views but your also broad minded enough to see from other angles.
And Darkton, thats really just stupid. The shadow council were evil, Gul'dan was evil. Sylvanas is twisted, the forsaken are twisted.

also wheres this quest that we started this txt war over? There isn't one; this whole started because one of the quest in the guy's log is about saving children; beyond that, we know nothing about the quest, where the children we're saving are, and if their actually being menaced by the Forsaken lol.

(also gorrish or w.e his name is pwned thrall in the arena a week before Wrath of The Lich King)
I dont think Garrosh pwned Thrall during that little skrimish they had. It was obvious Thrall was holding back his true power. Im sure someone will post the strip where Thrall one shots the necropolis.
on a more related note, even if gorrish is a power hungery guy now something might happen to change him... (DO ANY OF YOU REMEMBER NAGRANDS UBER LONG CHAIN QUEST FOR HIM?) remember blizzard can pull &*!@ out there ass on command so keep a open mind. as for going total war it wouldnt surprise me, the forsaken have a more truthful view on life as they see it for its horror and tis cruelity (ya life sucks people, but doesnt mean you cant be happy =D) it wouldnt be surprising for them to show no remorse and go total war.
A few blues over at the official site have stated that Garrosh will make a 180 and not be such a d-bag in Cata. As for going to total war, we will have to wait and see.
on a side note sylvanas is not twisted she shares the same veiw as most forsaken and if you ever did the necklice quest where she feels horribly sad for the lose of her sister/w.e family it was. (this also gives the idea that they could not go total war. also wheres this quest that we started this txt war over?)
The quest will be a part of the Worgen starting area, we dont have all the details of it so the thread go off on assumptions.
You should go over to the Lore & Roleplay forums and read/debate the Sylvanas thread( the evil one, not the sex one).

When it came to it, in the game version Thrall held back his powers against Garrosh knowing he'd pwn him without question, and that fight was never finished. In the comic version, Thrall finishes the fight and attended the the necropolis, so there was never any held account for what the hell happened in that fight.

I'm that sense I'm really hoping that don't. I don't like seeing Thrall replaced by this ahole as leader, and then if they changed his character to be like a clone of Thrall, it would be taking the %^&* even more. If Garrosh stays a war hungry dbag, then at least there cause to rally and kill him.
Blizzard are simple using him as a copout to create some tension.

I saw a screenshot that has a kid standing in a yard while catapults are firing from a distance. Maybe its not such much as they're attacking the kids directly as the kids are being caught in the cross fire?
