Arthas is dead, the scourge whipped into submission and much less of a threath, their leader is exposed as a demon and slain, their high priests and military commanders, most of them dead.
Will they get a new leader and carry on the crusade against the remains of the scourge, ebon blade and the forsaken? Or will they see a new enemy in deathwing/Azshara whatever and start a new crusade against new enemies? Or will they just scatter and disappear?
Im not a huge lore nerd, but i really love all questlines, areas and instances involving scarlet crusade/onslaught. They feel like such a cool side-antagonist, i really missed them in TBC (they should have had a small camp battling undead outside Auchinidon or something) and was happy when they returned in Wotlk.
Any thoughts?

Doubt we'll see anymore of them... The Scarlet Onslaught got officially wiped out at their harbor in Icecrown by the Knights of the Ebon Blade.

As long as there's 2 people in this world, someone is going to want someone dead. The same goes for fanatics and their crusades. The Forsaken and the Knights of the Ebon Blade are active forces that control significant territory in what was Lordaeron, and are solely comprised of the Undead.
Even though we have effectively beheaded the Scarlet beast, we haven't killed the body. And with any fanatic sub-religious group, there will always be another head ready to grow. I doubt we'll see them again gameplaywise, but lorewise I would not count them out.

Aye, the 'evil' members of the Crusade are gone, those who are 'good' have joined up with the Argent Crusade so the faction itself is on the way out; unless yet another Dreadlord shows up to take control of the leftovers and tries again to rebuild it.

Mephistroth, but i think as the leader (presumed) of the Dreadlords in the Twisting Nether, I see him playing a bigger part in the Sargeras expansion, if there ever is one.
