Note: this is PRIMARILY an AP build, not a stamina one, but I tried to get a decent mix...so I plan to maximize str, with stam coming in a close second...
I haven't made him yet, just getting an idea of what I will want, but I'm planning on a fury spec, NE for shadowmeld.
Please comment and let me know what you think.
head:
Frostreaver Crown
(+100 hp)
neck:
Sentinel's Medallion
shoulder:
Sparkleshell Mantle
back:
Tigerstrike Mantle
(+12 dodge rating)
chest:
Fire Hardened Hauberk
(+100 hp)
wrist:
Pugilist Bracers
(+9 str)
hands:
Algae Fists
(+7 str)
waist:
Highlander's Mail Girdle
legs:
Green Iron Leggings
(+40 sta, +12 agi)...thought about +50 AP, +12 crit rating, but I really wanted the extra 400 hp...
feet:
Highlander's Mail Greaves
(+7 sta)
finger:
Deadman's Hand
,
Protector's Band
trinket:
Insignia of the Alliance
,
Rune of Duty
ranged:
Nightstalker Bow
I'm still debating between DW and 2H.
2H:
Corpsemaker
(
Crusader
)
DW:
The Butcher
(
Crusader
) &
Protector's Sword
(
Crusader
)
The stats are better for Corpsemaker but I really, really, REALLY like the idea of DW'ing Crusader for the extra procs... (+200 str at one time? at lvl 29? =D)
Edits: I've updated some of the gear (shoulder/cape) and made a bunch of links so you don't have to search every little thing...

Hmmm, tough to say. You will have enrage if you go fury, so DW would be killer for that. Arms wouldn't be too bad either... I guess you can get both and see which one owns faster... lol!

Lol...I forgot to say I was planning on speccing fury...knew I forgot something...

A couple of things to note: Tigerstrike mantle is not elligible for +12 agility as the level of the item is below 35. Engineers can make a Parachute cloak which is elligible for the +12 agility, so that's something to think about.
Also, you cannot put an armor kit that you have listed on BOP legs, in fact, it has to be done by a level 60 or higher. Some level 29 green of the bear legs will be your best bet.
As a fellow warrior, I would go NE. I don't like the way they look, but shadowmeld is killer for a warrior, much better imo than the human racial.
Edit: Your enchant on your boots require a level 35 item as well. Personally, I would go with the AB boots with a +stam enchant as they have the +speed built in.
Edit2: Your chest will have to be +100 health as +150 is, again, available on level 35 items.

Tiemujin: thanks for that...I was trying to cross-check some of the enchant req's with the items, but I figured I would miss a few-so thanks for letting me know. I agree with the NE vs human logic btw...charge from shadowmeld is pretty sweet. Do you have any thoughts on the weapons?

I am making a 29 twink warrior as well, here are some suggestions I have:
wrists:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4745
(BC enchantable)
hands:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6727
(yes I know they are leather but they are also BC enchantable and superior in stats to mail items)
Ranged:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=3078
Remember agility only gives 1 ap per point but it also gives + crit chance!
As for weapons I would like some help deciding too. I am in a toss up between these:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2044:
BC enchantable (mongoose!!) and has fairly nice dps and crit
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7682:
Highest dps one hand for 29
or the good ole

A warrior without Berserker Stance is not a warrior. :P
39 is *the* level for a twink warrior imo.
Pummel : lvl 38
Intercept : lvl 30
Berserker Rage : lvl 32
Whirlwind : lvl 36
In addition, at 39 you have enough talent points to pick up a weapon spec and / or Deatwish. Warriors in PvP have a very special spot as the class that cannot be feared and has a "blink-to-target"-like ability (i.e. Intercept). Level 29 warrior is possibly the most crippled being out there seeing as they have no way of closing distance with their target, no way of stopping casts, no instant attacks (whirlwind), and can be easily feared / rooted / kited to death.

I like that +5 agility, but I was thinking that agi only helps rogues and hunters with their AP...forgive me for being nubish. As far as your weapons...I know that many ppl have varying playstyles, and as far as pvp I couldn't care less what a weapon's dps is...imo a pvp wep should hit hard, even if it is so slow it has low dps, because the whole idea of pvp is to get good burst dmg, so that your target is dead before they have a chance to retaliate.
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7682
is great for a rogue, but imo the weapons I listed fit my play style better. Note that Protector's Sword hits for 40-75, and The Butcher hits for 38-72, whereas the weapons you listed hit for 25-48 and 26-49 respectively. I have a semi-twinked warr (mostly stam...

) with 297 AP (not so good for twinkage lol), and the Horde equivalent to Protector's Sword (40-75 dmg) hits for 97-133.

I agree that warriors are much more powerful at 39, but I have found that if played well, a warrior at 29 can be a powerhouse.

Yeah, I'm ally, but I didn't know that
the axe
could get mongoose. Isn't the item level too low?

The sword is trash for a warrior, ok for a hunter as they are ranged and all...as far as the wrists are concerned, go with pugulist bracers, sure, war rider wrists are bc elligible, but you can enchant pugulist with +9 strength and warriders with +12 strength, pugulist already has a good bit of str, so your actually loosing dps by getting the war riders.
For the chest, go Raptor hunter tunic, and put +6 stats on it. It's all around better. For a balance build go Tusken Helm with +100 health (stats turn into 12 str, 12 agility, +100 health) pretty nice. Note that's its much more difficult to get the libriam on a bop piece as someone else will have to do the quest and enchant your helm through trade.
I am in the process of making a draenei 29 war twink and have done a good bit of research, Looking to get 500 attack power and 1800-1900 health and a good 17% crit.
Also...if you ever want to run the flag, be sure to get a marbled buckler and put +18 stam on it. and use the db here to find another set with +stam, stack it. I will be able to hit 2600 unbuffed health in all stam gear. Make a macro to switch it out.
Good luck
