((I decided to try my hand at creating a murloc playable race. And I've actually started to think this has some possibility. I need a lot of help with this, please assist. ))
Within the depths of Nazjatar, Azshara's minions plotted and worked to bring an end to the reign of the surface creatures and bring about the age of the naga. They expirimented with serveral races - including their own - in order to create a more powerful soldier. One of the races they worked with were the murlocs of the Grimfin tribe. After capturing the whole of the tribe, the naga arcanists and geneticists worked for weeks, painfully expiramenting on them with little remorse.
Eventually their labors bore success, the Grimfin murlocs - now under the leadership of Cheiftan Spitegill - became stronger, more intelligent. The naga were pleased. But so were the murlocs.
With little notice the murlocs broke free of their restraints and attacked their creators, slaugthering each and every one of them. They then escaped from Najzatar, killing anything that stood in their way, and with them they took an ever-growing hatered for the naga.
They set up a small camp along the shores of an island in Kul'tiras, keeping to themselves but not hesitating to kill anything that drew too near.
As time passed, though, the naga of Najzatar became more agressive, attacking the land-dwellers holdings at will. The Grimfin tribe knew they would need allies to survive Azshara's wrath, but they refused the Horde - the Splinterscale Naga already a member of it.
They sought out the Alliance, and were intelligent enough to impress King Varian and the other leaders into allowing them to aid them - esspecially once they agreed to fight the Horde along side them.
Tandred Proudmoore - ruler of Kul Tiras - agreed to allow the Grimfin reffuge within their cities - although many belive this was mostly based on orders from King Varian and the other Alliance rulers.
To add to the Lord Admiral's frustration,
Mishen Waycrest - a "freind" of Tandred's - went on her own way after his decision. It has not convinced him to revoke his actions, or stopped him from trying to win her back.
Now the Grimfin work alongside the Alliance, ready to crush both the naga of Nazjatar and the Splinterscale - as well as any that would aid their mortal enemies or threaten their new way of life and future.
...
Cheiftan Spitegill - The cheiftan of the Grimfin tribe, Spitegill was the one who spearheaded the tribe's escape from the naga. He was also the one who managed to convince the Alliance to accept them - if even just barely. He tries to lead his people, and is wary of everything and anything that might harm his people.
Tandred Proudmoore - The leader of Kul Tiras, he has become good friends with the Cheiftan, but is also trying to lead his people as well as trying to get them to accept the murlocs. But he also is trying to balance his own life between his life as king.
Mishan Waycrest - A captain of the Kul Tiras navy, Mishan was once Tandred's girlfriend, but parted ways with him after he accepted the murlocs. She'll follow his orders to not harm them, but she refuses to accept them, or Tandred's attempts to win her back.
...
Classes: Warrior, Mage, Priest, Paladin, Rogue, Hunter, Death Knight,
Woodland RangerRacials:Gills - identical to my naga idea. Eternal underwater breathing, but will recive a debuff if under past Forsaken's breath limit.
Mrrmmrrgill - Rally your courage with a traditional battle cry, increasing health and damage for 10 seconds.
Mutant traits - Increses strength, intellect, and spirit.
Swift Swim - Increases swim speed.
Diplomacy - Use your intelligence to negotiate a better reputaion increase.
Class reasons:
Warrior -
...Mage -
Blizzard and Frost Nova. They've shown to have the aptitude from arcane magic already, and the Najzatar-naga's expiraments has only made them smarter.
Priest - Having gained a higher level of understanding - and in order to help gain enterence and acceptence among the Alliance - the Grimfin have discarded their old traditions of spirit and nature worship in favor of the Holy Light.
Some murlocs already have holy abilities.
Paladin - See priest.
Rogue -
Backstab! And they're relatively small enough to fit as such, and not dumb enough to shout out "
Mrrrmmmrrrglll" every half-second.
Hunter - Some have held onto tradtions a little tighter, smart but also very stubborn. And some just like having pets.
Death Knight - Every class so far. And there are already
undead murlocs.
Woodland Ranger - Hero classes for every race, and I would bet that some might try and use it to return to more natural roots.
Customizations - Can customize fin style, fin color, skin color, face, and eye color. (Males are taller and bigger then the females.))
Male Voice Quotes:/silly - "No... NO! NOT MY EYES!- oh... it was just a dream....", "I was supposed to go on a date with a hot night elf last night, but I got cold feet...", "What do you mean 'why wont you dance'?", "Is that....
Westfall Stew... you sicken me...", "
I am Murloc! Yes, I am..."
Female Voice Quotes:/silly - "So what if I completed a
task for
Salma? Who hasn't? WHO HASN'T!", "The Alliance is so strange, just yesterday I saw a human
dressed up like one of us and trying to dance.", "No, I will not say Mrrrmmrrrglll... ah seabiskets...", "I am a queen like Aqua
man... WHAT?", "Don't belive a thing
D.H.E.T.A says, a cousin of mine went to work for them, I saw him killed in
their video."

I like the idea myself. This would tie in nicely with my idea for a water elemental for alliance.
http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=136400&p=1692676#p1692676. Perhaps a new idea for a racial - Water Bond? Increases all stats by 10% when activated with a murloc and elemental? Also- a really weird thought -Murloc healdins and a murloc warrior tanking hodir. Funnier than a gnome. ^^
I don't follow your logic on the elemental idea, sorry.
And a few bits of this idea is a bit strange, but so are Tauren paladins, and that even makes sense.
