the above linked thread is a good one.
I personally bind A/D to strafe.
I bind R,E,Q,F,V,G,extra mouse buttons and add shift/ctrl/alt variables to all of them.
those plus 1-5 (shift/alt/ctrl) give me a lot of room to keep my abilities keybound in convenient locations.

Personally, I find it way more convenient to use my mouse. My 5-button mouse broke a little while ago so I have to use some keys. Ugh.
Particularly for tanking I only have a few things bound to my mouse. Charge bound to wheel fwd (intervene macro bound to shift+wheel fwd), sheld bash, concussion blow and shockwave bound to wheel back (with various modifiers).
The rest of my abilities would be bound to my other two mouse buttons and the wheel 'click', but for now are controlled by the delete, end and page down keys, and the num pad.The num pad is mostly for marking though.
Yeah, that's right...I use the arrow keys+mouse to move, and I don't care :P
I tend to have my chat log open while fighting, or accidentally hit 'enter' while I'm doing stuff, so qwerty and wasd have always caused me issues.
RL: Why didn't you move?
Me: wwwwwwwsssss111123
RL: ...I see
