The female trolls don't bother me much except yes the vacannt face thats the only fairly pretty one and their feet.... the female troll feet look almost as big as the males'!

The reason Trolls are the least played is the same reason why BEs are the most played by the Horde. People want pretty characters. I promise you if blizz gave Trolls anime features like they did with BEs, Troll numbers would shoot up.

It's looks, pure and simple, the same reason Blood Elves far outnumber the other races on every server.
People tend to play models that look more human-like. It's the same reason Humans and Night Elves are most populous for the Alliance.

Seriously though, I kind of like being one of the few trolls running around. I've been a troll since the beginning (when we were the "pretty" race of the Horde), and I've only grown more fond of them since. I'd love some better face options, and yeah the run animation is mildly irritating... but otherwise I'm quite content with my trolls.
I don't find the models to be nearly as bad as some people are making them out to be (minus some of the ladies' faces). The women have tiny waists and booty to spare, and I like the blend they have of feminine vs. "I could rip your face off if I wanted to." But I suppose boys like their women tiny and helpless.
The male trolls are actually one of the more attractive races to me, slouched posture and all. So much so that the only male character I have is one. Tauren and orcs just do nothing for me (though they do look impressive decked out in plate), and blood elves are... well, blood elves. I think the male human models are absolutely hideous. I have no idea how anyone can stand looking at them. I'm pretty apathetic towards everyone else.
On a totally random note, I've had far more random creeps hitting on my trolls than I ever have on all of my "pretty" characters put together. I'm equal parts amused and horrified by this.

Because they have the most awesome pantheon of Old God children (Presumed) in the world and they all turn out to be:
A. Dead.
B. A non-raid elite, not even at level cap.
C. One raid boss. Just
one.
Really sad.
