Your supposition on it being 'Warlords of Draenor' and being in the best is not necessarily accurate. A whole planet blew up, recall. The areas we've visited in Burning Crusade were merely in the nexus about the various dark portals. So saying, there could be other landmasses broken away which are drifting about, and if they have survivors, have doubtlessly gained a few...unique forms of governance in the interceding years.

I'm expecting Cataclysm: Outland Edition.
(That is to say, a complete revamp of all that content.)

I sincerely hope not. With Cataclysm there was at least an excuse for why the world went to hell. To see everything we did in Outland be pointless too...

Dark Below was already established to be a hoax, while Warlords of Draenor has been officially trademarked across the world, including New Zealand, Australia, and the US.
Also Azshara is below the water, and has nothing to do with the Emerald Nightmare, a conflict that is long since over, and who's main instigator (Xavius) is dead.
Emerald Nightmare is N'Zoth's creation and Azshara works, or atleast is indebted, to N'Zoth, who is searching for a new Nightmare Lord, as seen in
Dawn of the Aspects,
I think.

Well yes, I fully admit that's purely speculation on my part, nothing more. Its also quite possible that Warlords of Draenor is akin to cataclysm, that is to say, a full revamp of the current zones to bring them up to speed to current events, and then add newly discovered landmasses that would make up for the new high level zones.
Its a possibility.

It doesn't necesarily needs to be another cataclysm, just a revamp, bringing the zones up to speed. For example see Hellfire Citadel empty, the fel horde dismantled, Black Temple purified, etc etc. Besides, outland is already quite broken. its not like they can break it more.

If there were other continents floating out there, you'd think the Wildhammers would have found them; those are the explorer dwarves after all.
As for the revamp: Blizzard has made noises that one is in the work, to bring Outland up to the current time line. But, we'll see tomorrow.

Warlords of Draenor. I belive that it is a expansion to some other rocks of the planet of the size of outland.
Possibly where we find alleria and/or tyralion, perhaps together, perhaps they have been sperated for 20+ years.
Draenor might be the name for the rocks. Remember there was a time when Azeroth was called Kalimdor.
Not time travel, as a bronze in worlds end said that the time was damaged. Possibly why we can se Gul'dan in shadowmoon.
And I aprove of updating outland questing 68-70.
Also morgrinar, while I approve of your idea of Turalyon joining the alliance, and Alleria joining the horde, I think its highly unlikely
It is wishful thinking on my part. If she joins up with the alliance then she will most likley become veressa 2.0. If she joins horde she can replace Haludron (Hes like Robin from batman) for the ranger general title.

Though, to make it an expansion, they would have to, wouldn't they? Else there would be nothing out there to fight. Not to mention anything unique to encounter if all that happened was that the Burning Legion invaded...again.

As seen in the Twilight of the Aspects, Blizzard has already said that all of the evil on Azeroth is the fault of the Old Gods...and that will probably expand to the universe as we travel it.

Urghh. Would suck if the demons have old god origin.

You know Blizzard's going to do that; the Titans didn't know about either the Demons or the Old Gods, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Um..Sargeras was fighting the 'demon' races for a long time before his downfall. In the original version, he had sealed away both the Eredar and the Dreadlords in prisons, as well as many other 'dark' races...and then he went nuts, broke the prisons open, and let the Legion free.
Even in the new lore, the Dreadlords corrupted him, and there were still Succubi, Infernals, and Void creatures fighting him before the Fall.
Of course, my ultimate Tin Foil Hat is that the Dreadlords are the Avatars of the Old Gods, since their style is just like the Old Ones: Corrupt and cause Chaos.

I know that Sargeras fought them; but before that, they had know idea that the demons existed. (I also have to agree with you about the Dreadlords; that also explains why they cannot truly die.)

Turnak
Well, they can only truely die when killed in the twisting nether, they cannot be killed on the mortal planes.

I stand defeated; Warlords of Draenor is the expansion.
Though I wonder what's going to happen lore-wise? Is all of it about to be overwritten? Hmm...
