And I'm with Funden now Rank...that guy in the SoO thread is a straight up loonie.
I'm not arguing he wasn't. I'm just saying that I agreed with his initial point (despite being very poorly exposed) that the horde received MASSIVE humiliation in this expansion, so blizz better deliver some badly needed moments of awesome in the next expac.
The alliance had already an entire expansion made of nothing more than pure victories, now its our turn.
Your bias is showing.
Bias is always seen when it comes to horde vs alliance questions.....

why? I never said that our moment of awesome should come at the expense of the alliance. Specially now that the war is over.

Rank, whenever you think that horde/alliance needs something, horde/alliance is bad becouse of something or horde/alliance anything something...
Then there is automatic bias.
There is no such thing as neutrality. Especialy when you only have two options, red or blue.

well............ >_< bias or no I want a moment of awesome. I went an entire expansion without even ONE moment of awesome. It was all tragedy, all loss, all humiliation, all destruction. Next expansion better have some awesome moments for my side.

Indeed, I would like the same.

My side? When was it you alone on that side my horde brother?
While it was good to see the difrent horde faction leaders*. The story at large was just that horde was breaking apart and Alliance is going super-humans with side-kicks to make that chin ever so chiny.
But I would like to see his high and powerfulness the grand magister Rommath Vs Jaina Proudmoore of the harlot eyeshadow. To determine who is the best mortal mage of Azeroth.
*Baine did next to nothing, Sylvanas only apears in SoO and we finaly saw that scamp for a goblin in SoO.

Actually, Gallywix did stuff in MoP just not in the game. More in the expanded universe. Did you know he was secretly trying to broker peace with the alliance before Garrosh ruined everything with Theramoore? And even then, he was secretly using his crew to hide the most potentially dangerous pandarian artifacts away from garrosh. The Blank Scroll short story really made him look AWESOME.
There may be hope for him yet.

I think we got some awesome moments Rank...just not as awesome as the Alliance.

I can't understand how blizzard can say Garrosh wasn't being controlled by the old gods, but rather that HE was the one in control, when we have mobs like
this
protecting his inner sanctum.
They're downright WORSHIPING THE OLD GODS, but noooooooo blizz insist they're not being controlled or anything.

By the fact that pretty much everything he did in the expansion was based on his own beliefs, rather then being corrupted by an outside source. I prefer it to be completely honest, as it's nice to see a villain who is a villain for the sake of himself, and not because the devil made him do it.
As for the protectors; you use the power of an Old One, you get some perks.

Garrosh was in control; but Y'Shaarj wasn't just an empty tool, the Harbinger is an excellent reminder that Y'Shaarj is trying to not only get away from Garrosh, but also bring himself back to power.

Finally managed to kill garrosh today, even if its LFR it felt DAMNED GOOD. Would had felt better if.... you know.... he had actually DIED instead of this prison crap, but whatever.
Here's the flavor text of the leaders from the horde side. You can speak to the alliance leaders too but 4 out of 6 will just say "I have nothing to say to you <race>". The only ones mildly different are Varian and Anduin. It also says something about what blizzard thinks of the draenei and worgen, that neither Velen nor Greymane are present, and the only leaders that show in the cinematic are Varian and Jaina (Who technically is no longer a leader)
Also its concerning the dialog from Sylvanas.
Here they are:
Clicky
Thrall
Vol'jin
Baine
Lor'themar
Sylvanas
Gallywix (Making his first appearance in-game in the past 3 years lol)
Jaina (/HISS)
Varian
Anduin
I'm very concerned about what sylvanas says. I hope blizzard isn't thinking what I think they're thinking. I've had enough of the horde being the bad guys D=
I didn't joined the horde to kill more horde.
I'll upload the alliance leaders after I get them down tomorrow. As well as the horde leaders from an alliance player POV.

I think Sylvanas is quite elven there, given that elves are not suppsed to be best mates with trolls due to Amani. And having a troll leader would be odd for a forner ranger-general.
And also... You're blue now? What about your vengance and hatered (se what I did there)?

They better
not
turn Sylvanas into a villain! I will not be a happy camper if they do.

I don't think Blizzard dare to kill her due to:
It would make horde player fell like all their
racial
(not faction) leaders are all raid bosses, given the whole Garrosh and Keal'thas thing.
Lots of people like her, for good or perverse resons.
Alleria Windrunner. There are people who would like to see a Windrunner reunion.
And technicaly she is already a villian so that worgen would be motivated to join alliance, some logic as to how undead players start and balance zones. Meaning she was turned from anti-hero to villian for the sake of game mechanic.

Yea, they should have had someone else invade Gilneas; like the Naga or the Twilight's Hammer. An invasion there from the Firelands would have been cool.

I'm blue, da bu dee da bu dae, da bu dee da bu dae.
I achieved my vengeance when I killed Vereesa, sadly I can't kill jaina because she's nowhere to be found. Blizzard's phasing powers protect her from my wrath in the isle of thunder. Though I haven't tried yet the only other place where she can be found: the fall of theramoore scenario.
But she's acompanied by kalec and rhonin there. I'm not sure I'm sufficiently geared to tackle 3 raid bosses by myself, but I aim to be. I'm already ilvl 551 on my DPS spec, and will soon reach the same level on my tank spec. When I do, I'll give it a few tries.
