I just read it. I have no doubt that the titans did kill Y'Shaarj. The Klaxxi served Y'Shaarj back before the Titans came; as they say. But they also say that if Y'Shaarj ever returns, they will go and fight for him. the Heart of Y'Shaarj is beating in Orgrimmar and that's where the Klaxxi are going. I don't think that if they thought that Y'Shaarj was dead, they would take the precaution of sealing away his Heart. Also you bring up an interesting point that I didn't notice;
possibly two
Titans are dead.
From The Prophecy of C'Thun;
'In the time before time, when the world was still in its infancy, a battle between a Titan and a being of unimaginable evil and power raged on this very soil. The prophecy is unclear about whether or not the Titan was vanquished in this battle but it illustrates that a Titan fell. An Old God had also fallen - or so it was thought.'
that's very interesting indeed

No, they say if the Old Gods ever return they'd go and fight for them.

Yes, C'thun got it's butt kicked, but It was one of the Four sealed away, along with N'Zoth, Yogg and the Unnamed one.

If Y'Shaarj isn't coming back, why would the mantid waste time and energy sending their fiercest warriors to fight for and protect the Heart of Y'Shaarj?

Because it's the Power of the Old God, which could possibly be used to free the Others, bringing them back into Power?

We need loot pinatas?

That makes sense.
I just read this; Dave Kosak said that Garrosh resurrects the Heart of Y'Shaarj with the Waters of the Vale! So perhaps Y'Shaarj will return by possessing Garrosh?
this quote from Garrosh seems to point to that.
'Anger, hatred, fear, they are weapons of war. The tools of a Warchief. yes, yes, I can see it now. I can see the future of this world. A world ruled by the Horde, my Horde! The old one calls to you. The heart will be your end. See the visions of fear, despair and doubt as I have. You will be trapped for eternity. The true horde will come to pass, I have seen it! I have seen mountains of skulls and rivers of blood, and I will have my world!'
What do you think?

On another point;
Do you guys think we
really
stopped the Hour of Twilight? Or did we just delay it?
Post by
Adamsm
The Hour of Twilight is over; the Twilight Flight is dead, Deathwing is dead, can't bring it about without those two.

The Hour of Twilight is referred to as a very ancient prophecy about a chain of events that possibly started with Ahn'Qiraj. The Old Gods made their plan foolproof by adding Deathwing, who was made to stop such an event from happening, a harbinger of the Hour of Twilight. The prophecy was probably made while Neltharion was still a proto-drake. It did not rely on either the Twilight Father or Deathwing

What do you think would happen if Kil'Jaedan and the eredar and the Dreadlords betrayed Sargeras and fought him for control of the Burning Legion?

They'd get smashed into paste...he's still stronger then all of them put together; after all, he sealed them all away in the first place.

Did he do that to the eredar? I thought they joined after his downfall. either way, you're right, he is way more powerful than they. But would the Burning Legion be able to work as an effective fighting machine without the eredar and Dreadlords?

Adamsm
Yes.

In the original version of it yeah.

Can demons be raised into undeath?
Post by
Adamsm
Nope.
Post by
Behelich
Debatable, until canon source says so. For instance, draenei can be raised into undeath as demonstrated by draenei Death Knights (both player characters and members of the NPC faction). Eredar are draenei pumped up with fel energy, nothing more. True, they have some mutations like horns and, in rare cases, wings, but if we take any draenei and inject suitable amount of fel into them, they will turn into an eredar. Likewise, most, if not all, demons in the Burning Legion that have physical bodies of flesh and blood (felguards, doomguards, pit lords...) were at some pointed corrupted from, for lack of a better term, 'normal' races.
That means, until we have canon source stating that a surplus of fel in one's body prevents raising it into undeath, we cannot say for sure that demons are immune to necromancy.

So, going off of this, if Sargeras could reconstruct a body for Archimonde, he could return.

No, because there isn't anything to return: He was blown the *!@# up, and his spirit is gone to wherever evil spirits go in the Warcraft universe. The only 'immortal' Legion race are the Dreadlords, all others can and do die when they are killed.
