meh, world pvp is gone, and its never EVER coming back.
There were days when alliance would raid crossroads, or horde would raid darkshire, or the massive southshore vs tarren mill battles, or the massive thrallmar vs honor hold battles, but those days are long gone.
I haven't seen any active big-scale world battles in a long LONG time (hell, I haven't seen a "For the alliance" or "For the Horde" raid in 2 years).
The game has been reduced to a simplistic currency farm. If a content provides no reward, then people don't do it. Unless you are actively rewarded with some sort of token for doing world pvp, people aint gonna do it. (And I mean REAL tokens, not "get this token and exchange it for a t-shirt")

You blame the alliance for the night elves, thousands of years ago, killing outsiders who stepped in their lands.10 years ago; both Horde and Alliance forces who landed on Kalimdor were attacked by the Night Elves; learn your f-ing lore.

That's because they heard about what the orcs did in the second war, so they were hostile to them because of that.
The Night Elves attacked the Orcs/Trolls/Tauren and they attacked the Alliance forces
as soon as they landed and made their way to Ashenvale
. The Night Elves had a kill first, don't ask questions in regards to any outsiders who tried to get into their lands.
They didn't learn about the Second War till after the Battle for Mt Hyjal. Jesu freaking Christo, go play Warcraft 3.

Ok your asking what the Night Elves actions had to do with the Alliance? What does a race that is
part of the Alliance
have to do with the Alliance?

guys, when you manage to make soldrethar see reason, come over here and convince chavez that comunism is bad.
Because the day you pull that off, just about everything else will be easy by comparison.
Just let it go, let him wallow in his own delusions.

From the cenarius page on the old wow official site's encyclopedia (which is still canon since it's not the RPG) :
"The orcs did not receive a warm welcome on Kalimdor. The night elves dispatched a number of scouts posthaste, and the scouts returned with frightening stories of the orcs' past atrocities during the First and Second Wars. In the meantime, the orcs chopped down a great many trees in Kalimdor, clearly intending to establish a settlement. Cenarius became certain that the orcs had returned to their warlike ways. He led a group of night elves and treants against a large group of the orcish intruders."
So there. And the other point is of mine, is that they don't do that anymore, they did before they joined the alliance, and now they don't, now they've become very open to other races. So what they did in the past isn't something they, or the alliance, can be finger wagged at for. Notice how I don't blame the current horde for what the old horde did?
Ok your asking what the Night Elves actions had to do with the Alliance? What does a race that is part of the Alliance have to do with the Alliance?
My point is that you can not blame an entire faction for what one race in it's faction did before they even joined said faction.
You just brought up a bunch of stuff that Gilliwank or whatever his name is did before he joined the Horde, how is that any different? This is getting ridiculous, yes the Horde may be darker than the Alliance, that's the whole point of the faction system. But after everything that's been said to you, you still refuse to admit that there is just as much grey morality in the Alliance as any other race of faliable mortals in Azeroth, then idk what to say.
And for the record the people leading the Night Elves 10 years ago, and even 1,000 years ago are the same people leading them now, it's not like their under new management. And the oy reason they've gone from environmental terrorists to tree hugging hippies is because they got their $%^& kicked in and are not as self reliant as they used to be. Having Archimonde and Ragnaros attack Hyjal within a decade of each other, and losing half of Kalimdor to the orcs took a toll.

Anyways.
Video of the Horde entrance
; gotta say, strange to see that the Tauren, Forsaken and Blood Elves are all in debt in regards to supplying resources to the rest of the Horde.

I said, when referring to gallywix, that the horde has a few evil leaders, when the alliance doesn't have any evil or grey leaders
because to you, people like Blackmoore, Barthilas, Garithos, Alleria, Daelin, The SI:7 Assassins wiping out innocent bystanders to cover-up a murder, Moira, Interrogator Khan, Grand Crusader Saidan Dathrohan (who did a lot of ugly stuff before leaving the alliance) Abbendis (yes, she also did a lot of racist and horrible stuff before leaving the alliance) Ambassador Gaines, Maiev, Benedictus, Fandral and many MANY more, either don't count, or are "bad apples"
you refuse to face the fact that the alliance is made up of a lot of A-holes in high places of power, but nooooooo to you those don't count.
You dismiss all the evil stuff that the night elves did prior to joining the alliance, but quickly point the finger at gallywix who's evil actions were BEFORE joining the horde (he may be a fat bastard, but face it, he has not done a single evil action since joining the horde. Nor have his goblins)
its pointless trying to reason with you, its almost as bad as trying to reason with darkton, or even fojar.

It's mainly because while they were part of the faction, they found supporters; such as Maiev and her new Wardens who wanted to destroy the Alliance bonds and return the Night Elves to their original isolationist lifestyles, or Fandral and his need to prove he was right above all others(leaving out his Nightmare corruption).
But the fact is Sold, you try to use what you quote as 'proof' that the Horde is some how 'darker' then the Alliance...hell, look at what you said in regards to the two Pandaren groups that join up with the Alliance and the Horde: You've said several times the 'good' Pandarens are the ones who join the Alliance and believe in restraint and calm, while the Horde group are 'bad' because they are more in touch with their emotions and are more wild....which you know, is based on Yin and Yang, and as most people know,
Dark is not Evil
.
Edit: Also, fun fact: The Dark part of the Yin Yang symbol? That's actually the cool and calm aspect, while the White is the unbridled emotions.

Adamsm, that cutscene you linked was already linked by sold previously. Sadly its incomplete =/ We don't see how exactly we get there. I know it involves a massive zeppelin crash but other than that, zippo.
When did I say that gallywix equates the horde? I said he's an example of a bad horde leader, (he IS the goblin racial leader afterall......tho I'm sure none of the goblins like him anymore). NEVER did I equate his actions with the horde's morality, because he didn't do anything with horde approval.
You said so here:
The alliance has no morally questionable or evil leaders, all of the alliance leaders are unambiguous good guys, where as horde side you have 3 good leaders (vol'jin, baine, lor'themar) 1 bastard who sold out his own people and tried to kill thrall (gallywix) and 2 evil leaders (garrosh and sylvanas).
You conviniently forget that Tyrande whisperwind murdered a paladin in cold blood, and butchered a TON of humans and orcs unprovoked during the third war. Ohhh wait, she did that before joining the alliance, so that TOTALLY doesn't count. But what gallywix did before joining the horde does.
Hypocrisy rings any bells?
Asides from the fact that the alliance DOES has morally questionable leaders. Like it or not, Blackmoore WAS a bigshot alliance commander, as was Garithos, as was Barthilas, as was Daelin, but for some bizarre reason, those don't count for you, because they must belong to some paralell universe.

I know it involves a massive zeppelin crash but other than that, zippo./shrug I don't click on Sold's links, since I have no idea if it's going to be a meme or some furry art he wants to share....
But yeah, looking forward to find out how it crashes as well.
