So Blizzard explains Murozond...
God I hope they put in a more serious description and an actual explanation as to why he's evil in the live version of 4.3 dungeon journal.....
Did you read the rest of the posts after that? As Rank said, they originally had the joke about Rag's legs in the early 4.2 Dungeon Journal.

I honestly hope they don't.

We already know why that version is evil: The Old Gods, as said in Twilight of the Aspects, since they are responsible for all of the evil of Azeroth that doesn't come from outside of the atmosphere.

It is really depressing how we used to have some interesting villians, and then Blizz shoved the Old Gods down out throat.
What annoys me even more, is the Dark Voice in Starcraft. I suggested a theory about it, and the first response I got? The books outright tell you it is a corrupted Xel'Naga.
Now then, anyone else reminded of a certain big-bad from Warcraft there?

Zeratul suspected it. It was never outright said.

Eh, the enemies are still interesting, it's just the motivations which have changed. After all, with the release of End of Time, all of the CoT instances now make sense, since we know why the Infinite flight was going after those particular points in time: Doing everything possible to keep Thrall from arriving in the future to help kill the Infinite commander.

Culling of Stratholme and Hyjal?

Culling of Stratholme and Hyjal?
Hyjal was there for fun, as there were no Infinites within the instance(that's from Blizzard themselves who said they only put the raid in to allow people to experience the last battle of WC3). Stratholme is fairly simple, as if the Third War had never happened, Thrall wouldn't have gotten new allies, and the Orcs when they landed on Kalimdor would have probably either A) Been wiped out by the Night Elves, or B) Never flourished and could have died out.

Thrall isn't even in Endtime though... so what was the point of stopping him?

Because without Thrall to use the Soul, going forward and backwards wouldn't be needed.

Why would it need to be Thrall though?
There are other very powerful Shamans, along with very powerful druids, mages, ect.

It's also shown in Twilight of the Aspects that the Infinites are working towards the Hour of Twilight as well, since Alternate Timeline Blackmoore is sent to kill Thrall on the orders of the Infinites, and he assists the Twilight Hammer in Dragonblight to revive Chromatus; he's the one who kills Arygos and triggers the magical spell that sends energy through the lay lines and gives life to the Aspect Killer.

Cataclysm
duh.
Fixed, he's only the "hero" this expansion, just like tirion was the "hero" of wrath of the lich king. I hope he's not the star of any more expansions at least.
he's had a more protagonic role than any other leader in the entire game.
Already his role on Warcraft 3 was huge, on wow he's showed up on nagrand (for the hero of mag'har quest) on battle for hyjal, on old hillsbrad, on the violet summit, on the argent tournament, on the battle for undercity, and a very large ect.
Not to mention 3 books, and the comics (though in the comics he wasn't a protagonist, he did had a rather large presence after the "third season")
He is THE most influential character in the warcraft franchise (this includes books, comics, games, and even the movie)

Wish Blizzard would give others limelight though, instead of just letting one character hog it all.
