Does Lore support or deny that there's a gameplay and story segregation between the equipments of different endgames? If so, how?I'm not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean "Is Ulduar gear actually better than Naxxramas gear in canon?" or "Is plate actually better than cloth as far as lore goes?" or something else?

I don't think gear really matters all that much in lore.

Ashbringer is only as strong as the person wielding it imo.

Right....and do players walk around wielding those? Which is what Delt was asking; your average grunt/soldier what have you, it doesn't matter what they are wearing as long as it protects them and keeps them alive and they have weapons to fight with. Our 'pretty' tier gear means bupkiss in the over all lore standing.

I dunno, Shadowmourne seems pretty important in lore, so is quel'serrar and quel'delar, so too would be thunderseeker, ect.

True....but Lorewise, there would only be one of each of those, not several thousand of them; so while we players have them, I don't think they count beyond being something that one of the heroes who helped to take down a villain possessed.

So, recently I quested through Tirisfal Glades, and I once again got to
Faol's rest
, where former archbishop
Alonsus Faol
lies buried, and it got me thinking. The Forsaken are now pretty much mass-resurrecting every human they can find. Wouldn't it be totally awesome is they resurrected this guy too, and had him become the leader of an organized church of the Forgoten Shadow?
I doubt he would want to be the leader, and it would majorly piss off the Alliance (even more). It would be the same as if the Forsaken resurrected Uther.

Greetings,
I was wondering when the earliest Tauren introduction was in lore? I remember seeing some Tauren statues in Halls of Lightning and makes me wonder where they came from?

Since the change to history, the Tauren's first big battle apparently was during the War of the Ancients. Beyond that, Taurens are on of the 'first' non-seed races that evolved on Azeroth, alongside the Trolls/Night Elves(technically the same thing if the legends are true), the Furbolg and the Quillboar, all who took part of the battle for the world 10 thousand years ago.

More likely than not the Forsaken still feel some level of respect for their fallen heros - note that it is a blood elf, not a Forsaken, that sent you to defile Uther's grave - and so will want to leave their bodies in peace. That would also explain why they seemingly errected a tomb for Terranas, or at least left it intacked, within the Ruins of Lordaeron.

Except Faol was the one who created the Paladins in the first place; if he woke up as an 'abomination' I could see him killing himself rather then joining up. Or he would beat feet towards the Argent Crusade to at least remain as he was, instead of falling to the Shadow.
