In the world's infancy, she protected all living things and allowed them the chance to grow and thrive. That's pretty much all it says. Which doesn't help, as it's highly subjective when Azeroth was truly in its infancy. :/
Nothing on the titles for the ER then, heh?

I was perusing wowpedia a moment ago, and when on the Earthen Ring page I was looking at the
members
, and a question popped up. Some of them are called Earthmenders, Stormcallers or Wavespeakers, and I was wondering if these titles had any significance. For example, would Earthmender <Name> imply an affinity with the Earth spirit, so on and so forth?
Sorry to quote it hehe, but it's really bugging me!
@Neon: I don't know about the naga, perhaps. But then again, Elune couldn't get rid of the Old Gods. She had to wait for the titans to do it.
It's probably self made, but I'd say it does imply an affinity with certain type of spirits.

Well since I'm banned I visited a friend and played a Worgen for the first time. (Dunno if messing around with hairstyles on the character creation screen can be seen as having played a character)
Don't like the way they move.
I agree. The male ones look like they are constantly having seizures. They are less crazy when in melee instead of casting.
The feamle casting animations, however, have a nice, fluid look to them. I dare say my Druid is slowly becomming my new fav character to watch. Even as a die-hard Hordie, I'm still loving my Worgen and have decided to use my forms as little as possible.

You'll like her even more the more you get into Twilight Highlands. She's Garrosh with breasts and a brain. Seriously, the Highlands are just awesome, period.
they could had made HER the warchief and I'd be very happy, she is almost as agressive as garrosh is, with the main diference that she is not a complete idiot.
she litteraly has all his strenghts but none of his (many) flaws. Plus her voice actress is quite good.

Based on what she says about wanting to "get to know him better" may foreshadow a possible relationship between the two in the future. Not exactly warchief, but if it happens she may be able to talk some sense into Garrosh.

Possibly. She's better than Aggra, that's for certain.

while doing the quest "The Terrors of Iso'rath" I was litterally having a blast, it's REALLY funny.
without spoiling anything, you end up with 4 NPC's, 1 resto shaman, 1 elemental shaman, 1 enhance shaman and 1 shaman who's spec I wasn't able to see very well.
each has a set of lines that they speak every 20 secs or so, and while some of those lines are serious and related to what you're doing with them inside Iso'rath, others are FANTASTIC Lampshades on shamanistic gameplay, and "Take That" to druids in general xD.
here's a few of them:
We command the power of the elements. Storm, Earth and Fire!
I'd never dress like an oversized chicken and shoot moon beams from the sky
(LOL)
Many confuse the Earthen Ring with the Cenarion Circle. ... I TOLD Thrall we should rename ourselves the "
Earthen Square
"
Shaman and druid ways are very different. When was the last time you saw one of us turn into a wild beast? ... ohh wait....... nevermind
as you can see that little draenei shaman was quite spunky, but she's not the only one.
here's the tauren Earthmender Duarn:
Shamanistic healing is a complex art. You can't just chain heal all day. (LOL)
I fail to understand why they banned totemic cleansing. No one was ever in range, anyways.
next one is Hargoth Dimblaze dwarf shaman (enhance shaman wearing what I believe to be the BEST LOOKING fist weapons in the game)
Thanks fer saving me, laddie. I had a horrible vision. I was trapped in a cave of flame, forced to drop totems and heal irate warriors for years on end without seeing a single piece of shaman gear.
Other shaman used to say, "Only yer offhand should be flaming." What were they going on about?
Do ye know how hard it was to find a set of weapons that matched me armor?
and last is our friend from Deepholm, the dwarven shaman Stormcaller Mylra (Awesomely nicknamed "Little Angry Woman" by a twilight hammer ogre)
It's about time we returned to the Highlands! "Twilight" be damned. (this one nearly made me fell out of my chair laughing, xD indeed DAMN THE TWILIGHT cult and book alike)
When I said we should strike at the heart of the beast, going through it's stomach isn't what I had in mind...
I had a terrible vision - the sky was blotted out and there was dirt everywhere. ...I thought I'd gone back to Deepholm.
also patty, about the diferent titles the members of the earthen shaman use, it is posibly about the fuction they serve.
those devoted to healing are the Earthmenders, those that focus on elemental powers are the stormcallers, Wavespeakers and Farseers are the ones who comune with the spirits and elements for guidance.
this of course is speculation :P I asume that "Rule of Cool" is the real reason behind those titles.

While the topic of favorite characters is still on the board, after doing several Tanaris quests I've found that
Megs Dreadshredder
is awsome! To prove this I quote from the quest
Maul 'Em With Kindness
:
Okay, babe, listen up. There's two ways to get people to do what you want. You can provide goods, services, and things people want...or you can beat the living daylights out of them.
I've often found it's useful to do both at the same time, and you're pretty familiar with both methods by now. Take these little silithid treats, go and beat some ogres dizzy, and then give them the treat before you knock them completely dead, 'kay?

how come nobody mentioned "Gob Squad"? I'm sad that these little guys (and gal) show so little, since they are WAY more awesome than the Bravo Company.
Less whining more ass-kicking pls
(Newt in particular has this epic "1-liner" after she kills someone: "By a girl...... auch")

heh :P when the gob squad steps into action, you better get ready for pure UNMITIGATED BADASSERY. Bravo Company was nice and all that, but just as crowley is a pebble next to saurfang, so is the Bravo Company a buch of boy-scouts next to the gob squad.

Nah, the Gob Squad rools.
And while Crowley sounds like he was punched in the throat, Saurfang sounds like Optimus Prime. Case closed.

Meh.
No half-wit long-eared green-skinned midgets can stand up to the awesome might of JOHN J. KEESHAN.
ya know, this really bugs me.
more than once I've heard how awesome Keeshan is, yet I've heard none call him a sue despite that he's in a permanent god-mode rampage in not 1 but 3 zones.
yet, let's see a forsaken female who's name starts with L do something slightly smaller and everyone brands her with the Sue-seal forever.
nevermind that while the former gets well over 10 people who constantly remind you how awesome and baddass he is, the latter gets only 2 who remark that she has intresting spells and would love it if she joined the forsaken formally.
also, while keeshan is cool, all his coolness is due to him being an expy of rambo, thus all his badassery he ows it to some other character on whom he (and his squad) was inpired.
the gob squad were invented in wow, from wow, by wow. They didn't needed to be expys of someone else to be awesome.

Heh, well, unless you count Small Soldiers, the 5 man bands of several different action games/movies/comics/what have you......

meh, lots of work of fiction include fiveman bands, that doesn't mean each of them is a clone of each other, as several 5man bands are quite diferent from each other.
So far I've seen no 5man band that the gob squad is inspired on. They are based of Goblin culture in wow (wich is unique as warcraft's goblins are unlike any other goblin in other works of fiction)
however the bravo company (and the entire quest-chain in redridge) is one big expy of rambo. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I happen to love rambo and I honestly enjoyed that questchain very much (so much I've done it 3 times already). But keeshan, and the bravo company owe their awesomeness to somene else, to a movie.
Whereas the gob squad is awesome in their own non-copy-cat way.
