just not actively worship it like Priests and Paladins would.
Well, the preachers are supposed to be the most active worshippers me thinks. =D
A summary of the world of warcraft:
''Tirion: You will not be forgotten brothe-
Bolvar: I must be forgotten Tirion! If the world is to live free from the tirany of fear, they must never know what was done here today!
*Deathwing appears and blows half of Stormwind*
Bolvar: Okay, you can remember me now."
ok.... THAT WAS DAMN FUNNY XD.

Hey guys, I was wondering about spell casting, could anyone clear that up for me, how it really works?
I mean, must the caster ( does it matter what spell the person is casting or what "class" the person is? ) say any special magic words the caster must say out loud / think of / whisper?
So if the person would have to say the spell out loud would that mean there are no deaf casters in lore?
How long would it take to cast a spell? (Example: polymorph, summon minion, fireball, some healing spell? )
Also, how does Resurrection work exactly, in lore, when and how could a person be resurrected by priests / druids / shamans / paladins, I've played a char out so he was resurrected once, but it took like a full day to bring him back, there was a shaman, druid and a priest bringing him back together and his spirit "wanted" to come back, was that okay, then?
These questions have been answered times and times over already, prolly, but could anyone just explain those things to me, thanks.

Most mages memorize the spell, then cast it; in all the lore books, including the comics(where you'd expect to see Calling your Attacks), no mage/warlock/shaman/what have you screams out the spell their about to use. As for time, depends on the 'size' of the spell itself; something major, like what Mal and Illidan did during War of the Ancients, required a lot of force and time to cast.
In Lore resurrection is incredibly rare; it's only happened one or two times, and was done with immense magical power (aka Aegwynn giving up 90% of her own personal power to revive Medivh and give him a real body again). Your idea is interesting... but wouldn't happen more then likely.

Didn't we once decide that in-game ressurection was "brink of death" stuff?

Humans Part 3.
The Night Watch still works in Duskwood however,
as the scourge
and worgen in the area still prove an imminent threat.
Hmm... I always though that the undead of Duskwood weren't Scourge, just the work of Morbent Fel and the Dark Riders of Deadwing Pass.
Fel is a Scourge Necromancer; and so is possibly the old Hermit.

Glad to see Anne set the record straight with comparisons between Varian and Thrall:
On the other hand, we have Varian -- and we have him citing his time in the arenas as a horrible, terrible time that he will never forget. Yet despite his claims, the comics present a different story -- Varian was never really mistreated, he was simply made to fight for his life. Then we have Thrall, who was made to do the same -- but where Varian was imprisoned for only a year, Thrall was imprisoned for the entirety of his childhood, locked away from his people with no knowledge of their language or beliefs, and beaten regularly by the drunken bastard who thought that raising a baby to fight as a means of income was a giggle. Thrall, who lived in isolation with no friends save a young human girl named Taretha who thought of him as a brother -- and whose head was promptly removed when her allegiances were shown. Thrall, who was willing to simply let the humans of Durnholde Keep, his captors, live if they'd just let the orcs go -- and got Taretha's head in a bag thrown at him by way of answer to his request.
There is no comparing the two. With Varian, we have a man who had everything in the world going for him and abruptly lost it and continued to lose it at the hands of the Horde; with Thrall we have an orc who was raised with nothing and fought to regain that which he'd never had before, peacefully. Because despite Thrall's violence at Durnholde, it wasn't what he wanted -- it was a result of Alliance actions. The two leaders aren't really the same, much as Blizzard likes to draw comparisons between the two -- they're on completely contradictory paths, and that's what makes it interesting.
She's made a good case for Varian, but I'm glad to see she still appreciates the Horde too.

The Dark Riders are either left over first generation Death Knights, or some type of Scourge force; Fel himself is a necromancer; all the undead near him are his own work, and most of those are Scourge creatures. If the Riders aren't Scourge, that doesn't mean Fel can't be.

Mainly because nearly ever undead creature is the child of the Scourge in Warcraft? Not to mention, it ties into the whole Scythe of Elune thing; that the Worgen were summoned to fight back against the Legion forces(which the undead creatures are a part of). As for why the Dark Riders; makes sense they would be Scourge or Legion aligned, as their original forces no longer exist, even with Rend leading the Dark Horde in Blackrock Mountain and I can't see him welcoming the Riders back into the fold, as they were part of the group that served his father's killer.

We don't know that the Dark Riders are Generation 1 Death Knights.
Nor do we know if Morbent Fel serves the Scourge.

I think Skree meant about the arena life; Thrall did have his worse then Varian, as Thrall was nearly killed by that ogre and Varian more or less walked through his year as a gladiator unscathed.
