This could mean that the mission we play in WC3 changes because Krasus, Rhonin, and Brox were sucked back in the timestream later in that said timeline, which then altered it slightly
you sir are a genius :D /salutes
I never tought of that posibility, everything we see and do on warcraft 3, is before krasus+brox+roninsue's travel to the past.
it would had been cool to see a revamped version of warcraft 3 that shows the new timeline after the significant changes made in the past by these 3 people.
Although cool, something like that would be a waste of Blizzards time and money just for players to hear Cenarius say:
I know the honor of your kind, but I will deffend my forests if you do not stop his madness at once!

a little patch/hotfix for the war3 client to add that line wound't be so hard or expensive to do (finding cenarius' old voice actor could be a problem though xD as pretty much none of the war3 actors ever made it to wow, with the exeption of metzen thank god)

don't be so sure about that, because she could be a really good imitator.
I was 100% sure that the voice of Illidan in wow was the same than in war3, just as I was sure that the voice of terenas was the same as war3, and to my surprise..............
the voiceactor of terenas on war3 died a long time ago, and the voice actor of Illidan din't reprised his role in BT. what we heard was a really REALLY good imitator, Can't confirm maiev though.

Hm... something for Delt heh about the Sunwell Trilogy:
The Sunwell Trilogy occurs concurrently with Brann's journey through the Eastern Kingdoms as chronicled in Lands of Conflict. Dragon Hunt covers the fall of Tarren Mill, which occurs before Brann Bronzebeard's journey through Hillsbrad (after the Forsaken had taken over the town). Ghostlands occurs not long after Brann's journey through Quel'Thalas. Brann had reached Quel'Thalas before the blood elves had retaken Silvermoon, or any areas in Quel'Thalas. So, it does go farther to explain the connection between
Lor'themar
,
Halduron
and Sylvanas, and of course there connection to
Anveena
. I know you dislike the mangas/comics/some of the books, but give it a read heh.

Probably not.

Possibly, though the other race would have to be quite large, worgen maybe and definitely not gnomes or goblins. But still, I doubt it, and so far as I know there are no half tauren half other race mixes other than a few isolated RP cases. It would probably go wrong is tauren tried to have children with another race given their size and various other things.

Probably. I mean, if you look at Garona, she's half-orc, half-draenei. Orcs and Draenei don't look very similar to me, so I see no reason why any other races shouldn't be able cross-breed. However, I don't think it'd be accepted in the tauren society.
I believe it may be possible too but look at the size difference, and since tauren children have horns I could see difficulties if the father is the tauren and the mother is another race, also the size difference doesnt help and rules out half-gnome half-taurens, but it may work with some of the larger races. As of yet I know of no actual half taurens in the game and in lore.

I doubt Tauren are born with horns. Just look at cows.
The main reason we don't see half-tauren is just because the only other sentient races the Tauren knew up until 6 years or so before WoW were Centaur, who hunted them, and Night Elves, who were xenophobic.

If you look at the tauren children (like the ones in wow childrens week) they have horns as far as I remember so it is possible, also we are talking about Tauren, cows are completely different, the first is real and the second is not but I get your point. By the way I am just saying it is 'possible.' I dont actually think it would work or atleast there would be severe consequences.

don't forget the earthen, in the war of the ancients there were also earthen and furbolgs helping the grand army of the elves to fight back the legion. so the ancestors of the dwarves also knew of the tauren.
Speaking about tauren, I've just come to realize how much the new tauren class options may mean to tauren lore. Today, tauren lore is largely overshadowed by night elven lore. For example, when speaking about the Earthmother and specifically about her left eye, Mu'sha, one might say "Mu'sha is Elune for the night elves." However, this does not apply in the same way the other way around. When speaking of night elven worship of Elune, what the tauren worships simply does not matter as much.
An example can even be found on WoWWiki. If you type "Mu'sha" into the search bar, you will get redirected to the page for Elune. And if you look on that page, almost all you will see what the night elves think of her.
Now, with the introduction of Sunwalkers and the powers drawn from An'she, the tauren will have something the night elves don't, and that, I think, will make sure the tauren lore become more separated from the night elven lore.
amen to that bro' but tauren do have some lore that is unique to them, esentially shamanism, and "the great hunt" wich are rituals practiced by them and not the elves...... but everything that involves druidism is fully ripped off the elves, this new branch of "Sunwalkers" (AKA paladins, AKA Holy cows) and "sun-druids" (AKA priests) will add some much needed new lore for tauren in the game.
can't wait for Aponi Brightmane to put some paladin tier armor (preferebly tier 6) and become the new matriarch of Sunwalkers.
there are 2 class combos that I consider to be a complete disaster......... namely night-elven magi, and forsaken hunters......... but meh, if that's blizzard's desition our opinion hardly matters into those things.
a question though.......
you think that some of the tauren paladin skills will have new flavor names? such as the blood-knight skill "Seal of Corruption" wich in the alliance is called "Seal of vengeance"?
because tauren paladins don't draw their power from the holy light of the naaru, they draw their power from the sun and from an'she the other eye of the greath mother, as such it would make little sence that they have the spell "Holy light" named like that, a few pally spells would have to get a new flavor name for tauren paladins (just a few to avoid confusion)
