My guess is envenom and deadly poison now make up for a bigger percentage of your overall damage due to the buffs. If your dps hasn't gone down there's nothing to worry about.

with the new master poiisoner and the nerf to arp it seems that mutilate come slightly ahead of combat builds.
anyway, they must do something about the weapon swap since a rotation without rupture give me like 600-700 dps more.

If im not mistaken.... the old master poisoner increased the frequency of both instant poison and deadly poison procs after the envenom.
No, but the base Envenom skill increases the chance to apply both poisons. The old Master Poisoner just increased the effect of that buff with regard to Deadly Poison.
He's right. This should end the discussion in this thread. The old Master Poisoner ONLY EVER helped apply Deadly Poison, to help you restack after depleting. The got rid of that and just let you keep the stacks up. The Envenom skill BY ITSELF increases your chance to apply poisons, and that is unchanged.

Are you using the 1cp from Ruthlessness procs, 3cp Mutilate, then turning that into a 4cp Envenom with 5 stacks of Deadly Poison.. which in turn often procs another Ruthlessness cp and the cycle repeats?
exactly. no need to say that the rotation is really tight, and no place for rupture (which results in a dps loss from the simulations, but i need to test into raids.)
