So... then human sacrifices wouldn't be murder either?

Not if God commanded them.
But he hasn't. Therefore they are still murder.

PS I love how everyone is so vehemently against my beliefs that all life is sacred. -_-

God never commanded Abel to kill a lamb as sacrifice.

SO if god told you to kill all people who are diffrent you would blindly agree?
If God told me to kill people I would. Happened plenty of times in the Bible.

Its not that. I respect animals. I'm just arguing against you from a purely philosophical point of view.

And that is called extremism. I know if I start hearing voices, the first head a bullet I fired went through would be my own.

Not against the idea that all life is sacred, just against the inconsistency between distinctions.

So your saying that God REALLY means "Thou shalt not murder, unless commanded to"?

That's pointless. My belief stems from revealed truth, not philosophical truth.

You mean... revealed truth, or truth interperreted into something that you believe.
Edit: Becuase revealed truth says this "Thou shalt not murder." Everything else you have added on is semantical justification for or against various acts.

So you really, truly, actually believe if you heard the voice of God, you would kill for it? Ughhh...

Murder is the killing of an innocent. Since we cannot judge (as creatures) everyone is innocent to us (as far as their life is concerned). God however can judge and if he determines someone is not innocent, then it isn't murder (because murder is the killing of an innocent).

I really agree with you... I do. I just think you need to be very very careful when filling in God's words. They are very complete as they are, and need no more interperetation. Thou shalt not murder... good enough for me.
Some religions... need more added on though.... not naming any in particular though....

No I've added nothing. By limiting it to humans, you're the one adding something.
